Wanted/Looking for: '02-'04 MCS, low mods/spec OR trade my '05 JCW

Looking for a clean '02-'04 MCS with not alot of mods, if any, and not specc'd out much, if at all.

Not interested in Premium package, Sport OK.
Prefer no leather, no H/K.
MFSW/cruise not important.
Aftermarket wheels and pulley are possibly OK.

So, something in the sub - $17k area...

Lemme know - thanks for looking!

Derek

04 Mc40

I have an 04 MCS the MC40 (Monte Carlo Rallye special edition - #793 of 1000). I am getting ready to order an 06 - so around the end of March it's for sale at around $24,500. It has 20,000 at the moment and has the factory alarm, auto dimming rear mirror, 4 lamp bar with fog and spots, and the black honeycomb factory Aero upper and lower grilles. No engine or suspension mods. I'm in NC.

Looking to sell, swap or buy

I'm looking for an 06. Would consider 05. Maybe with JCW but not that important. Don't care about leather or automatic windshield.
Need MCS hatchback with dsc, sport, premium, and cold weather packages.
Don't care about mods or stereo.

I have an 04 MCS in brg with sport, premium, no cold weather. Cordoba leather, stock radio/cd, white 5 star wheels and non-runflats. 28,500 miles.
Has the auto wipers.

Also. I'd be willing to switch wheels and tires to keep my 5 stars.

Alan, DRSMS22 -

Thanks for the offers, I shouldv'e been more clear. I've edited my original post above to clarify what price range I'm looking at.

Also, I'm gonna sell my JCW - asking $24,500 to start - see spec/picture below from the showroom floor when I bought it last year.. I'll get some more pictures up soon when it stops raining here...

Thanks

Derek

Curious, why would you sell your 05' JCW for a regular MCS? Payments?

-Cody

PS. - Question! Does having the JCW Kit on increase your insurence? Sorry to hijack!

That would one of a few reasons.

Insurance specific to JCW - that was on the "to do list" but I didn't get around to it.

Hi Derek,

I'm new to this site, but I've been wanting a MINI since they came out. I've decided I'm finally going to get one this year. Yours looks like it might be what I'm looking for. Can you post more details on the options your car has, along with some detailed pictures? (Has it stopped raining yet?)

Thanks,
Patrick

Patrick -

The basic spec is in my signature, other than that it's the same info you'll find on the MINIUSA site which has the "details" that all MINIs have. Not mentioned in the signature but visible in the picture is the window tint, shortened antenna and non-runflat Yoko ES-100's.

I took some interior shots this past weekend - PM me with an email address and I'll forward them to you.

The rain hasn't stopped so the outside of the car is still dirty and I haven't gotten any more exterior pictures. The car hasn't been in any accidents and there is only one small small rock chip on the hood, which was touched up with a paint pen or something similar; other than that, the overall condition of the exterior of the car is what I think to better than what you'd expext for a car a year old...

I'll say it again - this car is awesome - everything I think an S should be, nothing more, nothing less.
