I have a escort 8500 (red display) for sale. I upgraded to a new escort radar detector and have this one for sale. There is nothing wrong with it and is a great detector. Do not have the window suction cup clip, but this can be found on amazon for about 5 bucks. For sale for 150 or best offer. Can ship.

Free bump. I've had the 8500 X50 in all my BMWs since 09 and have proven to be a great detector. The red display matches well with the BMW/Mini amber lighting.

 

I also have one, if you speed at all a good radar detector will change your life.

Not the hottest prospect in the world, but questions: Power cord? Case? Manual?

 

Yes the power cord comes with it. The manual can probably be found online and if you want a case I can provide one (will be from my new one) but it will just add cost to the shipping. Let me know.

Does it false "Laser" a lot?

These are great units as long as they are healthy...

 

No it does not false "Laser" and i do not have the detector in front of me but i can let you know on thursday (out working in the great state of texas). It was replaced because i received a new one at xmas. We love escort detectors in our family. And this is a healthy detector i assure you.

Best detector I've owned... Have one on all my vehicles... even the bike!!
These things alert around corners and the distance on them is excellent.
