MINIMini Toys - Diecast/Models/RC *Caution Lots of photos*
"HOW" stands for Hollywood on Wheels

I managed to grab one of these the other day:

Looks to be in fantastic condition, don't know if this one will stay out of the box or not.
It came with this:

Bobbie, is this something Howie might need? If so I'm sure I owe you guys something.
91Eunos, I've looked all over for an additional Green Classic & Trailer but no joy
I've got an extra 1:18th scale Austin Powers UJ version that is unclaimed if you're interested
Smokey...that's pretty unique. Perhaps one that should stay in the box.
I plan to keep my Italian Jobs there.
MINI_Bee - What do you think the cost will be on the Foxtons? I just might be game. Thanks!

Ebay might be the best source now a days, although I was able to find a few with beat up packaging at Walmart last month.

Anyone want to pitch in and buy some from the group for that purpose?
Jack
MINI_Bee, I'd take one. There's only 1 style, right? If there's more than 1 style, I'd take 1 of each at $6 plus shipping. Hell, I'd go to $8 plus shipping if necessary.

OK, so that's Mishka, Minilla, Agro and Red Scooter who want Foxtons Hippy MINIs. It would be best to have him ship direct to you so let me see what he wants to do.
Smokey, two of the other Foxtons are on ebay right now and I'm watching them. They're in the UK though, which really drives up the price.

I've been watching a few UK eBay MINI/Mini's and the shipping is what kills the deal for me. One seller wanted $22 to ship a $6 car
I have a nice little collection of diecast models.
The MINIs:
- the yellow and black Cooper is a model of my full scale MINI.
- The four red minis are the winners of the Monaco Rally in the sixties, a Corgi special edition my dad brought back from Hamleys of London
- on the right side, a Corgi MINI Cooper from the JCW Racing Challenge and a red Vespa P Series, that looks like my Stella Scooter
- on the left side, the Cadbury Racing mini, the the new and old style Coopers from the Italian Job movies (all Corgi models)

A Closeup of the Monaco winners. I got to see all these cars in real life at various car museums around Britain. Very cool!

A collection of classic Dinky Toys by Meccano.
- the Battle of Britain, Stuka and Spitfire
- Joe 90's Flying Boat car and Sam's Car
- the RAF's Harrier Jump Jet and SEPCAT Jaguar
- models from the SCI Fi series UFO, Ed Straker's Car, UFO Interceptor and Shado Mobile (rocket firing tank)
Some of these are orignal toys I actually played with, others were purchased from collections. Dinky Toys rock!

The Corgi MINIs at the left are 1/36 scale. At least that is what is printed on the underside. Makes sense because the black and yellow Cooper is an AutoArt, and it is 1/43 scale.
Corgis are still great. My nephews like the New Captain Scarlet models, so I pick up a few off the internet when I can. I am still watching Ebay for an orignial '60s Batmobile (I had two when I was a kid) and a Chitty Chitty Bang Bang car (also had that). They were so much fun back then... some of my cars even did "things" like launching missiles, ejecting stuff, etc.

Hi there -- looking good --- (in 1st pic) you say that the two Italian Job Mini's on the left are Corgi--- they look a lot bigger than the Corgi in the back --- maybe it's just the picture angle but what scale are they? I know the ones in the back are 1/43rd and the ones to the left should be 1/32nd but they do look bigger. I have a long term fixation with Corgi since I am from Swansea and my brother worked for them back in the 60's --- oh those Christmas parties at the factory were great for kids!

For those who would like to get a Foxtons Hippie 1:18 MINI, the seller I have been in touch with will sell them direct for $8 plus shipping. His name is Anthony and you can email him at nuggetz79@aol.com.
He also suggested that someone try bidding on the one he has on ebay now for a starting bid of $.99. That one is HERE. He's trying to build up his seller rating since he's just getting started on eBay, so that's why he wants to sell some there.
I bought one from him direct and it arrived quickly and was just as advertised.

Jack,
Your seller just bumped his shipping charge from $10 to $11 this afternoon
I've been watching that item since it was first listed. He also had it listed last time with the $10 shipping.

I'm not sure why he did that. Just to be clear, I'm not affiliated with that seller in any way. When he put the first Foxtons up I missed the auction. So I sent him a message asking if he was going to relist it and he offered to sell it direct for $10. Since then he has been listing them and no one is bidding. Puzzled, he sent me an email asking if I knew of any other collectors who would want them. So I'm just delivering that message. I figured any decent quality 1:18 MINI is worth $8, especially one as unique as the Hippie model.

I paid $20 shipped, and that was Priority Mail. It's a pretty heavy piece.
It's the guys that charge $10 to ship it parcel post that **** me off

Hey guys--- take a look at this -- my daughter sent it to me today. It follows the line you draw on a piece of paper --- not very good from a modelling sense but top of the line for something different!
Agree top of the line!
