MINIMini Toys - Diecast/Models/RC *Caution Lots of photos*
DD, I went looking for these the other day and couldn't find any, got a picture to help with the hunt?
Also, I think we might have a new Hotwheel coming out. They have a new release called the Street Series that lists a Morris Wagon as one in the series. Of course of the 30 something they had in the shelf none were the Morris

I managed to get the last of the Verts in the mail this morning, thanks everyone for the quick paypal
It's been dirt cheap until this last round. The packaging is slightly different, so I guess that means they can charge a little more.

Virginia Tech Tragedy
I feel a little mixed about this post but I think it's important.
Turcicus (Chad) is, I believe, a graduate of Virginia Tech. He is one of the few in the group I have emailed directly (got to know him in my Production Group).
Anyway, I remembered that he is in Virginia and that his email had to do with something education. After checking his email address (...@vt.edu) I now know that the 'vt' stand for Virginia Tech.
I just emailed him to see how he is doing, how it may have affected people he knows, etc.
Frankly, I wasn't sure what to say.
Anyway, it's the kind of event that likely occupies our thoughts. It just so awful. I also thought you'd all like to know it's very close to one of our NAM family.

I lived in Blacksburg for 7 years as a kid. I never dreamed it would be on the world news for such a horrible reason. It is the nicest town I have ever lived in or visited. I have a few clients with children there as well. I can't image what everyone at Tech is feeling after today. I can think of no words to use. A loss of this magnitude is unfathomable.

It's just unbelievable that one person could ruin so many lives. My prayers go out to the living and the loss. I hope the loved ones of the lost can find a way to live through this and see the beauty of life again one day. I can't image anything more difficult to overcome.

Hey all,
Was at one my local hobby shops and found a new tray of 1:56 Kinsmart pullbacks. About $3.20 with tax. The had silver/black, red/w, yellow/w, blue/w (dark/Indi?), black/w and green/w.

There were probably about 10 in all. I rounded out these two with the other four colors I didn't have. I think that's my first 'run' of all colors in a size/brand.
Please PM me if you're interested. If you don't have Kinsmart in your collection, the detail is amazing in these wee tinys!

Thanks DD
I've got some chores to do, bills to pay, people to see...... so I see a trip into town for me
Love it when a plan comes together
So it's quicker to Germany then to AZ
Time to move Red!
After a little of DD's help I managed to dig through the pile of Maisto(s) and find the LY/W Fresh Metal. Thank you kind sir
I also picked up another of the Foxtons! It looks like the 02 version in Jack's picture, but it has a red roof and additional graphics on the rear quarter panel. I'll post up a picture tomorrow.
Correction on my last about the new series from HW's....... It's Street Show not street series
Based on what the previous Morris Wagons looked like, it won't be MINI like

one of my Husband's collector friends called the other night to tell us that the Target near me had the new MINI's and asked if I wanted it.
so he is going to grab what they have for me and I will let you know how many extras I get. I can't get there with my schedule lately so he will grab them for me. {wish my Son's Wedding was over with}
working 2 jobs and trying to get this all together has me wishing for a weekend getaway REAL soon. {tried getting him to elope to Vegas} but no go.

Good luck on all fronts there, Bobbie
Knowing Howie, I'm guessing these are a new Hotwheel??
Oh and here are the Foxton shots I mentioned:
02 version

and the 06 version:

Even the 06 looks different, or at least the wheels and the numbers on the side are

Guys and Gals...

Smokey, LOVE the Foxtons MINIs! I am trying to get as many of them as I can. My wife doesn't roll her eyes when I tell her I am buying one of them.
BobbieJ, I am interested in one of the new Hot Wheels MINIs.

I have a box of extras to bring too. Nothing super special in there but maybe I have something someone wants/needs. Mishka, when are you arriving at Fontana? I want to get a look at Rob's box as soon as I can.
You're killing me with those Foxtons. Where are you finding them?
You sir are a giant in the collecting world!
I still get the eye roll and sometimes I even get the dreaded................don't you already have that one?

Ahhh, so nothing has been delivered yet? Did they not hit the shelf?
That just sounds wrong
But I need a peek too
We will be arriving the afternoon of the 3rd. I just went through and got all those MINIs packed and ready for the trip.
Of course part of the reason I don't get the eye roll for them is I only have one.

These were eBay purchases, not bad in the grand scheme of things. Both were in the $7 range plus shipping. I've started looking at eBay UK, that's where the Punk one came from. Just watch the shipping charges, most of the reputable sellers will ship a 1/36th scale for around GBP 3.50, the Foxton ran 7.00.
Here's a update on the most recent purchases:

The NSW Police version in the back right finishes the nine-double-nine series for me
