Success at Wally World this morning for Mike - since I am at work - one of the things on his "to do" list was go on the hunt for the Easter Eggs - he called me from the store and said "how many to you want?". I said - "as many as you can find."

I think he got 7 or 8 - so that means extras for those who may want them..

I know the N scale (1:160) had the Herpa MINIs, but I seem to remember seeing an ad for a Marklin Z scale (1:220) train with the MINIs also. I know of several places here in the US that still show having the Z scale locomotive in stock for around $200.

I was able to find one of the 1:87 Fuerwehr MINIs on eBay last week. I have been pretty busy so I forgot to let you know. I'm sure there is someone here that would still be interested if you do find one.

 

I found 3 of the easter eggs at a Walmart in Vegas today. That means I have 2 spares for anyone who's going to be at AMVIV and can't find them locally.

I could probably guess pretty close. It's a great looking set and a great way to display those MINIs.

Just checked, the Z scale one is $266 here. They are generally close to the best prices and selection I've found. Haven't priced any cars because I need the locomotive before I get them.

I'll go through my Dad's Z scale stuff and see if I can find any info from the release of these models. He was a member of the Marklin Insider Club and I still have all his magazines and catalogs. If there was a Z scale MINI train, I'll get the item number and maybe that will help find one.

I picked up another EB/B 1:87th scale Model Power MINI at the local diecast place and a set of 3 Hongwell Cararama Mini Travelers in 1:43 scale. The 1:87th was 3.98 and the Travelers were 17.55 A tad high for the size, but he's had to find a supplier from England - his stateside guy has dried up. He's got more of each if anyone is interested........... pic's to follow.

I'll take a copy of anything you can find in 1:87 scale... Have 3 cars coming your way too. I finally noticed that I have a Carerra GO!!! slot car (the #2 car) that looks a lot like yours in red w/checkerboard top.

PeopleKars' shipment showed up today so I have the blue and the yellow Extreme tuners, the Corgi 1:43 Munich Police version and of course another Schuco yellow Sinalco and a Schuco blue/british flag in 1:87 (that I just found/purchased this weekend).

So guess what you're getting in the mail! MiniBee is getting the other 3 (Sinalco, Happy Digits and the "Smurple" Herpa cab) plus the 1:18 Dickie brand yellow cab... Bobbie's getting a fun pack of everything that I have more than 1 of!

 

BTW, nice job by PeopleKars...a little slow but he was trying to find some fairly rare cars for me... Extremely well packed/packaged and good at closing the loop on the deal.

 

Donna and Bobbie - I was able to catch the parts guys and they put 2 on the box coming to me. UPS'd from just down the road so I should get them maybe tomorrow but for sure Weds

Oh and I forgot to mention earlier, I also came across that Orange Tiki Torch classic Mini at T-R-U, thanks for the heads up

I just couldn't pull the trigger at $32.99 for the set it comes in.

I can't find the track set on line, even at T-R-U website and of course the HW website is no help either There really wasn't a name of the track set other then the 6 in 1 set. (6 cars and 1 track, I guess)

 

Smokey, the dealer emailed me that he is holding one for me already lol.{since i'm his source of toy MINI's } so you just need the one for Donna. thank you anyway. got an invite in the mail yesterday for a party at the dealers to welcome all of the 2007 MINI's on March 8th. should be fun as usual.
