just picked up that boxed set this weekend in Paris! 
...along w/ a few others. I'll post pics of them as well as the train, etc. when our computer's back up and running (posing from an internet cafe right now).

I have a nice little collection of diecast models.
The MINIs:
- the yellow and black Cooper is a model of my full scale MINI.
- The four red minis are the winners of the Monaco Rally in the sixties, a Corgi special edition my dad brought back from Hamleys of London
- on the right side, a Corgi MINI Cooper from the JCW Racing Challenge and a red Vespa P Series, that looks like my Stella Scooter
- on the left side, the Cadbury Racing mini, the the new and old style Coopers from the Italian Job movies (all Corgi models)
A Closeup of the Monaco winners. I got to see all these cars in real life at various car museums around Britain. Very cool!
A collection of classic Dinky Toys by Meccano.
- the Battle of Britain, Stuka and Spitfire
- Joe 90's Flying Boat car and Sam's Car
- the RAF's Harrier Jump Jet and SEPCAT Jaguar
- models from the SCI Fi series UFO, Ed Straker's Car, UFO Interceptor and Shado Mobile (rocket firing tank)
Some of these are orignal toys I actually played with, others were purchased from collections. Dinky Toys rock!

If anyone is interested in getting one of the FOXTONS hippy 1:18 MINIs, I have found a source where I can get a bunch of them at a good price. So let me know. I just got mine and it's a really nice piece.
I REALLY like that they pack the antenna separately. The 'other guys' should do this!
Glad you like it. At first I thought the antenna was missing and I was bummed. Then I saw it taped to the box. Mine was a little loose so I out a dot of super glue on it to make it stay upright. I would love to have all the Foxtons but the shipping rates from the UK make it hard to get them at a good price.

I'm a newbie to this thread and hope you don't mind my very elementary question, but...
Where can I find a die cast model of a black on BRG MCS? Scale can be anywhere from tiny 1:48ish up to 1:26. I'm looking for a desk model, but all the BRG's seem to have white tops.
Any info. would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I just picked up 2 Kyosho 1:18th Dealer quality MINI's for $17 + shipping 
The non-JCW BRG/UJ roof and mirrors was $1 and the onther one is a BRG/W JCW one with driving lights Edit: I'll post up some pictures when they come in

Damn! I was watching those but didn't know they were Kyosho. I thought they might be because of the driving lights and the listing saying it was a JCW. But the dealer didn't respond to my questions so I let them go. He had more than one of each. Glad someone I "know" got 'em.
I think I replied with, “Oh, thanks for the tip.”
I just missed grabbing the other 2 he had listed and the gas pumps, logged in about 5 sec after the auction ended 
. Those pumps went for cheap!

Currently I'm watching the Hammer and Coop lunchbox. My guess is it's not going to be as rare as the seller says it is, but you never know.

Finally have some updated pics posted! Here are a couple of the Marklin train and the various Schuco, Herpa and Siku 1:87 scale models I've loaded so far:
My wife wasn't too happy when she found out how much I spent on this set up so far but what price love?
Also an updated list of the Siku models available:
7 of the new version (silver/blue) Polizei models
0 of the old version (white/green) Polizei models
0 of teh red cabrios
8 of the Follow Me models
4 of the black w/ Union Jack on the roof
2 of the gold models
2 of the green w/ white roof
Plus 1 of the Siku 1:87 scale Polizei/Porsche/tow truck sets and 1 of a new find: Dickie Yellow cabriolet w/the "pull back" friction motor. The Dickie "feels" kind of cheap after working w/ the Marklin/Herpa and Schuco stuff (all plastic) but it's kind of cool..what I'd expect from a $5 toy from Toys R Us!

Oh yeah, I there were a couple extras each of these cool Coutry-flagged original Minis...at 6 Euro each I didn't pick up any extras today but I should be able to find one or two if y'all are interested:
