MINIMini Toys - Diecast/Models/RC *Caution Lots of photos*
All,
If you were interested in purchasing any of the 1:55 MINI Cooper Tuners from Nogbors you might want to hurry. I placed my order and received all 5 cars but they are now out of blue. They told me that they had a rush of orders over the weekend. Hopefully that some of my fellow collectors.

Anybody know how long it takes to ship from the UK to the US?

I think I'm going to KMart tomorrow.
Red Scooter,
Maisto also makes a model in black just like the purple version. Nice find.

Thanks for the input on the Urban Metal Purple MINI. I let it out to breathe tonight.
It's kind of funky. It's very 'street'. Seems to have a bit longer body, sits real low (low rider!) has wide blingy wheels and purple windows!
I've found that 'searching for treasure' (as I call it) is as much, if not more fun, that actually finding something cool for my collection! Whenever I can, I'll buy extras to buy/sell/trade.
Thanks for the input on storage/display cases, too!
EDIT: Here a couple of closer views. Interesting details...an Urban Metal badging, if you will.

Did an eBay search and found the pair (purple and black). Starting bid $10! Krikey...have to hit some more Kmarts! Seemed like it was kind of old but I didn't think it would be around for 2 years or so.
Red Scooter,
I found my black and purple models at a Sears Grand so it might be worth checking out if you have one in your area.

Went to KMart and did not find Urban Metalz. I did find 1:43 Maisto
CR/W. Two were on cards and one was in a three pack. No other colors (sick of CR/W in diecast). It's a cool size I haven't seen before. I'll liberate one on from the card so I have the others for trade. Will post photos later.
MINI BEE,
Sears Grand is like a small Sears that is free standing.

What is Sears Grand? Like a Super Sears?

Checked another KMart today. No Urban Metalz but more of the CR/Ws that MINI Bee found. It is a cool size. Not sure what the scale says (it's at home). I could get 2-3 if anyone wants one.
Btw, I got this on eBay. It looks A LOT like the tuners from Nogbers but the auction said it's a Boley. ???
Stopped at a Toys R Us in Clearwater today on the way home. Lots of diecast but no MINIs. I did find a MB Superfast London Taxi that was pretty cool. I didn't get it but can go back for it if someone wants it. It was gray with a black top. There was a cool Classic in a HotWheels 6-in-1 Track set. The Mini was orange with some intersting decals.

Look like this:

I've only seen them on eBay and from overseas and they sell for large $$
I just stumbled across this website of the South Texas Collectors. They have a nice list with pictures of the MINI's from 2000 to current.

Hey gang...this doesn't have anything to do with MINI collecting but I wanted to share a little project with you:
MOTD Embroidered Patches
Please let me know what you think.

I have to check my stash, but I think I have one of those 5 packs with it in it.
