ONLY ONE DAY LEFT TO ORDER PATCHES IN ADVANCE! Only 10 MOTD5 patches are left! Only 9 MOTD Vet patches are left! I have plenty left of the MOTD 1-4 patches. All orders must be placed by April 15. After that I will bring any remaining patches to the Dragon and you can get them from me there.

UPDATE 3.19.07

All patches that have been paid for have been shipped. One exception to that is an order from someone with last name Roberts who lives in Hayward, CA. I need your NAM name please!

I have about 20 each of the MOTD5 and MOTD Vet patches left and then they will be gone for this year. Plenty of MOTD1-MOTD4 patches are still available. There's still time to get the whole set! Several people have PM'd me saying they plan to frame them and add to the frame each year. Nice idea!

UPDATE 3.13.07

The patches have arrived and they are beeeeautiful! Up to this point I have been showing you computerized proofs of what the patches would look like after production. Now that I have them in hand, I scanned the entire set on a flatbed so you can see the quality. Check it out below. They appear in this photo smaller than their actual size of 3.5 inches.

UPDATE 2.21.07

So far I have orders for 109 MOTD5 patches! I can order more than 100 on the first order and I'll probably order som extras to have onhand at Fontana, but once the order is placed I have to order at least 100 more for a second order. So if you haven't ordered your MOTD5, MOTD Vet or full patch set, order NOW or you may not have another chance. I'm down to about 16 of the MOTD Vet patches too. Once the first order is placed if there is sufficient interest I will place a second order for the MOTD5 and MOTD Vet patches. Plenty of the other years still remain. Many of you have been asking about the patch designs for the other MOTD years. Well thanks to the work of COOPERation I am please to show you the proofs for all six patches, now with backgrounds in Electric Blue, Liquid Yellow, Chili Red, Indy Blue and Hot Orange. Check it out!

You'll notice the patch designs reflect the history of MOTD and the original name, Dragon Run. Thanks to the original Dragon Run/MOTD attendees for sharing their personal remembrances.

Remember, proceeds from this patch sale will be donated to EASTER SEALS.

Even if you haven't attended every year you can order the whole set for your collection.

Keep posting what you want in the thread and I will add you to the lists in post #2. If you want to get the whole set and have already put your name on the MOTD5 and/or the MOTD Vet patch lists, please PM me asking me to add you to the MOTD Patch Set list and take you off the other lists.

Individual patches are $5 and postage for up to five patches is $1. The compete set of six patches is $25 (a discount of $5 on the set) and postage is $2.

ORIGINAL POST

OK all you Dragon slayers...how would you like to get some nice, embroidered patches that commemorate your participation in MOTD5? I'm planning to make available 3.5-inch patches using the excellent badge designs of COOPERation. The patches will be $5 each and all proceeds will be donated to charity. As of right now I'm planning to make the two designs you see below available.





To make this work I need to order a minimum of 100 of each patch design. So for right now I just need everyone to post in this thread indicating the quantity of each patch they will want. Toe keep this simple, please refer to the patches like this:

MOTD5 Patch
or
MOTD Vet Patch

Once I get an idea of the demand I will move forward with actual order-taking. If there is sufficient interest, I can also plan to have patches for the other four years, although COOPERation tells me only about 40 people attended the first MOTD.

The patches would be great to put on jackets, shirts, hats, etc. as a way to record the years you have attended MOTD.

Just tell me how many you want of each patch type and I'll update the list.
