A MINI amongst a sunset (new pic I took)
Wow!
Tonight was a perfect plan. Again, high cirrus clouds, but way west. Motored across town, into Prescott National Forest, up about 4 miles of awesome rally-ready dirt road to Sierra Prieta Overlook. It's 7000 feet, looking west across Skull Valley.
I couldn't decide which of 30 shots to post, narrowed down to these. Decisions, decisions.........
Dusty in #1.
Funny you point out clearly defined lights. #1 was after the partiers drove by, I intended the lights to glare. This shot (#4) has more car and lights.
But you're not much help, you still left two!

StegasorMINI fights back!
My car went out of commission last night so today I was MINI-less. (I think it might be the clutch.) It's been miserable.
Thanks for posting that cool pic. It put a smile on my face.

Something else.
There isn't a "MINI with a sundog halo" thread, reason for non-sunset picture. After reading the link about halos, I still can't determine if this is a 18*(degree) parhelia, 22* parmelion, 46* halo, or what kind of sundog thing this is. Taken in about 5 seconds at a stop sign. Slightly enhanced with my very limited ability.
And just another sunset. Notice I just washed Swifty?

Hey guys. Awesome pictures! I was pointed to this thread by 89AKurt. Here are some photos I took in November, outside our shop in Littleton. I think DID might recognize the scenery. Hope you like these.

Thanks for posting.
pauliekeys: Thanks also. I don't have the greatest camera, still trying to learn how to trick the auto functions.

Taken at my credit union in Prescott Valley. A bit tricky to add another dimension.:impatient And not thinking about the people in the restaurant watching this nut moving his car around, and running around taking pictures helped.

Was that accidental or intentional? (i.e. was there something just below what we're looking at you were trying to avoid)
