Hmmm. I like that first one. Your MINI came out looking focused a bit sharper than usual. The way it contrasts against that pond helps outline the car. A colorful sunset sure accentuates the image as a whole.

Thanks. My thinking also! My earlier shots were just snap shots.

Tried a new hilltop, but sunset was weak... of course on the way out it got better! Stopped at my favorite windmill.

I really like the way that one turned out with the windmill motion.

What's important is that you took the time. Once you become obsessed (not ME!), the sunsets will beg for you! I am surprising myself, but ALL I seem to be good at are sunsets!

well I was scouting out the beach in the background for a possible future MINI club event and since camera was in hand figured I'd snap a shot. I'm trying to get back to my more obsessive photo days, just realived I went almost three weeks without taking any photos of the MINI guess I've been doing a little too much motoring

And tonight's sunset. I almost missed it! We got a mist of rain today. When there are too many clouds, no color; but an opening in the clouds brought color through. The "Eyes" in the background... dead Jetta.

This is actually a sunrise for me, but it's a sunset for someone near England, I'd imagine:

A quick reminder to Flickrers: I've got a handy bookmarklet for easily linking to Flickr images from vBulletin.

not sure what you mean by this. It's my personal site, and this particular post is not Mac-specific. The bookmarklet's good for any browser worth its salt (so that means if you're using IE you're probably SOL).

If I had to guess, I'd say motor on's last picture (frontal shot) was a sunrise. It's just got that early morning glow about it. Hm. Some unintended double-entendré goin' on there.

Not this time around. I was kind of in a hurry and didn't have a great location to shoot in for this one. I'll try to get out and do some more.

I'm not computer lit, as long as it runs. When I doesn't, then I'm SOL.

Location makes a huge difference. Look forward to more.

I'm not obsessed...
This is...

I was taking these earlier, and at a certain point I thought I've captured enough sunrise only... better hop in Swifty and get what might be awesome.

I'm telling you, I'm not obsessed!
This was on the drive to Firebird Raceway. I won't tell if it's sunrise or sunset (here).

I'm guessing sunrise.

There's something about this one that I really like. Also, your non-MINI sunset series is really cool. I wish we got good sunsets like that here.
