I should call it Real Estate Mining, Inc. They are mass grading beyond the new homes. How would you like to keep one of these homes clean?:impatient
Tried post production junk.
Tried the windmill location again. Had to make soccer practice, missed later color. Tried out whatever program is on this computer for "effect."
Tonight I made this my sig photo. Okay everyone, all together...wow.

I like that photo a lot. Nicely done.
This next part is in no way a criticism of the actual photo, because as I said above I really like the way it came out. I'm sharing this to assist you a bit in terms of making the most of what you've captured.
The version you posted has some jpeg artifacting (like the jpeg has been saved a few too many times). This shows up in the blotchy sky and around the blades of the windmill. I would recommend not resaving over top of your original file, rather I would save any file you have adjusted to a new file name, then try to minimize the number of times you adjust that photo. Also, if you have a choice on a "quality" level, select the highest one you have available (both in terms of the quality level the photo is shot at and the quality level you save the photo at when you are done adjusting it). Those steps are some of the best things you can do to preserve the highest quality image possible.

This was a Murphy's Law moment. I was messing with the camera settings, one was taking the picture as smaller (than before) image.
And then downsizing so I wouldn't continue filling my picture cache up! I do save originals (like drawings). This kind of sh...stuff is why it's so satisfying to get a really good picture.
Timing is everything too. This morning was very quick, only had time to drive onto the street. Amazing what a difference the car's position makes (this is boring IMHO).

The shot wasn't staged or anything. I just happened to be walking up to get in it and thought it looked cool so I snapped a pic
Twilight Over-time.
Pure accidental setting. Was thinking of these three towers (for what we don't know) pulling in, see the barricades blocking the road, think "No." Take a couple shots from "The Mall" (for now) parking lot, drive back out the same way. Then this view hits me!
It's "twilight wedge" to "purple red" phase, I think.
It's 35*F and the guy in the bucket is way up in the breeze...brrrr.
Later, while I'm eating the dinner I was in a hurry to get home for, I thought "why didn't I offer more light?" Arg!

Road trip sunsets.
The tracks, all I could find that reflects the sky.
The dead trees are part of the Rodeo Chedisky fire.
Both were during panic mode to find a decent location in a strange place!

Too bad all my recent sunRISE shots are without a MINI in them (In fact, i was driving in all of them, since the sunrises when i go to work). I'd take a sunset if i got out of work before the sun goes down :(
Can't wait for the sun to stay out longer in the evening so i can get some shots out in Bumpass!

Heres one I grabbed today, was actually shooting some sunsets at the local airport and decide to take a few of the MINI. I had other but weak composition, just try out a lens before taking it "on assignment" this weekend at the races.
I like the color and frming with this one.

Sorry its been awhile since posting, felt like I should share something if I was going to be posting. I can definately see detail improving from last time I was here.

Thanks for posting. We gotta get the shots when we can!
Almost missed this one!
As I was posting above, I was watching the sky... thinking it wouldn't do anything. Note the crepuscular rays (?). This is in front of my house (again), but parked differently. I'm stuck on the deer-in-the-headlights pose...
Attack of the hoe.
This location is around the corner from home. The track hoe operator built a mound, and parked on it, in an already steep area. A night shot (another thread) inspired me, but I would be the first to admit this is lame. Worth a try!

. Well, this was my best attempt at a decent photo at sundown, gimme some feedback!

Don't be afraid of parking "wrong" for a couple of minutes.

Return of the hoe.
Tuls, I really tried to get light on the subject. This setting is challenging because of the tilt of the street, very limited access, no wide angle lens, lack of lights, uncooperative clouds...
