Yippee! Just got home and I have been excused from jury duty until further notice. Now I can work on my car tomorrow unless one of my clients has a catastrophic failure and I have to get back in a hurry. Brad, your USS bolt insert is here, plus a couple of extras so we won't have this problem again with the next two installs. Thanks, M7. Have you scraped your spitter, yet, or haven't you taken your MINI out in the rain?

Niether vehichle has moved since Saturday. Not supposed to rain tomorrow, so on my way home I will drive by. Sooner if it does rain. I will be in the Jeep though.

I guess we'll just have to put part 3 of the USS on the Jeep, then.

Atleast we won't have to jack it up then.

Thinking of that, did you fix your jack?

Yes, it had almost no oil in it. I guess it evaporated during shipment since there was none leaked in the box.

All at once. Too bad the bushings are still not here. I sent my USS gift certificate I won at AMVIV off to M7 so we'll see it when they get their next shipment. I also want to sell my Alta intake and get the M7 AGS.

I'll probably wait for version 2 for that one, too. I see you are whoring on other threads a lot tonight. Going for sixth gear?

I might be interested in your Alta intake if it will fit my AT. Ken

The box will, but you will need a different intake tube.

The intake tube is different for the auto, but the rest fits. It may be more cost effective to buy the complete assembly than to buy the tube separately. I also have a CravenSpeed 15% pulley from our sponsor if you want to go for it. I am thinking of charging a small fee for installs to pay for corner balancing scales and other tools, but the pulley was donated and would cost you nothing.

I'll take the pulley and no problem on the install fee. Your probably right on buying the complete assembly on the CAI. I notice there is now a top cover for the air box. Any thought on the cover? Just let me know where and when you will have time to do the pulley. If its more convenient we can do it at my place. I have an air compressor and numerous jacks. Also lots of beer. Here that Brad. My place is better for me since I have all my tools. The pulley is red if that makes a difference to you. I haven't seen the lid yet, but my guess is you would want it if you removed the hood insulation for the installation of an M7 TSB. Also, I don't think the standard rubber seal does a very good job of sealing to the hood insulation, so a lid might work well. It's easier to do the pulley and CAI at the same time, though I am at home in Oakhurst until Sunday afternoon if you want to install the pulley sooner.

Steve, the top cover is a new product from Alta. I don't particularly want to remove the insulation as that would mean more noise in the passenger compartment. If you want to wait until I get the CAI it will probably be a couple of weeks. I have all day Friday if you want to do it soon or I can wait patiently until I have the other parts. Your call. Ken

Friday should be OK. I should be done with my coilover and swaybar install tomorrow. The pulley takes about an hour and a half if we don't drink too much beer. I need to finish Brad's M7 USS but that's about a half hour project whenever he comes up.

If you send me a PM with a phone number or an address with directions and time to be there then I'll see you Friday. Thanks Ken
