Just had my ears checked and they say I'm going deaf so the whine won't matter and I want better performance.

Brad has hardly driven the car since the install. I have the missing part for the 1/3 that's missing, but he went to L.A. this weekend so it's still only 2/3 complete. I have my doubts that we will be able to feel the difference during normal driving, but, hopefully, we will do some autocrossing this summer to test it out. I installed my Pilo/Megan coilovers today and my swaybar. What a difference! I can actually turn without having to keep adding more steering. I talked to Peter at M7 yesterday and he thinks he will get the USS's out next week. Hopefully, we will see them late next week or early the week after.

That sounds awesome Steve, I may join you guys for autocrossing when the summer comes along. Are you planning on going to Castle in Atwater? I am curious as to how well my car really runs under pressure. Did you notice the front of your car is sandblasted after AMVIV? I am kind of dissappointed about that especially since paint work is so expensive. Other than that I am so glad I was able to go.

Sandblasted? I have hundreds of chips in the front from running up and down Hwy. 99 twice a week. I did get a crack in the windshield during or on the way home from AMVIV. It's completely behind the mirror so I can't see it at all from the inside of the MINI. But, undoubtedly, it will grow and need to be replaced. Castle and the local Porsche club for autocrossing look like good bets. We'll see you there if not before.

Steve, I thought you were having fun putting the pulley on my mini AT. You hurt the mini's feelings calling it a pain in the ***. Thanks again for all the work. Have my CAI ordered so looking forward to another lunch at El Cid. Ken

Porsche Club? I wonder if the Porsche club of America decal on my car will give me any extra laps or benefits?

You made me have to think and that's hard. How does your MINI seem now on your home ground?

See if they will let you join. Don't tell them it's a MINI.

Tech, glad to see you were able to get everything installed without my expertise.
It looks a little cloudy up there, is it rainning again?

I'm amazed that I got anything done without your expert direction. I have almost all my parts on my MINI so now I will have to start thinking about getting something new. It's not raining, yet. Are you home or posting from L.A.?

Hope your getting over the pain of thinking. The mini has less hesitation and seems to reach the red line quicker, but not enough so I guess I'm hooked on doing more mods. Ken

There's no end to modding once you catch the bug.
