Yes. The concrete is soft (poor quality) and thin so I don't think it's going to be too hard to cut with an inexpensive blade.

So, youre going to cut it open and dig out the dirt to make a pit?

 

You got it. I just hope they didn't bury construction debris like I've seen done elsewhere.

That wouldn't be good. Are you going to use some form of liner on the bottom of the pit?

 

No, I want to squish around in the mud because it's so fun. I will concrete the bottom and block the sides. At some point.

Thats why I asked Sweet, but it sounds like you will have to make it fairly deep in order to allow for room to use blocks and thick enough concrete. It should make doing work under the car a breeze when its done though

 

Well, I called DHL today after I hadn't heard back form them for a week and they told me that a clam will take from 60 to 90 days to resolve. THen I call World One. They say they don't want to foot the bill to send me another one while I wait for the money form DHL. That is totally bs. Well, finaly they offer to send me the part in black, but I told them to wait till they have titanium to send it to me. So, whenever the next titanium bar comes in, you are set.

 

Peter says June will most likely be the next run of titanium. He also said he might try and get a run of titaniums in for third week of may. I just don't know. I may just get a black one and give you the titanium I took from you to get this ****ing thing over with. And I still have to deal with DHL!

 

What a mess. Does he realize that he is losing my business for sure and possibly others' as well? I will order my end links from elsewhere even if they are a little more.

Why do they think DHL will settle in his favor? One look at the box and the bar will tell them that it wasn't damaged in shipping and he will have to eat the cost anyway. He is being completely dishonest.

Well, I'm having a Black one sent out to me. I ****ing hate black. I don't want black, but I have no other option. I have made you wait too long as it is to get another bar. When I get back from LA on monday (if youre still in town) I will run over and give you your titanium.

Now I have to wait for DHL to contact me to get my money back for the other one. That is if they will even give it to me when they see the box in pristene condition. I am royally pissed.

Also, I suggest you contact him about your concerns if you have any. I am done talking about this bull **** situation with him or any other vendors.

 

I tried to tell him that in as political a way as I could, but he said DHL would just pay up.

 

I've waited this long, I could wait a while longer if I have to. Just don't go off to Michigan before I have it. My concerns are that he is dishonest and making you submit a fraudulent claim. One pissed off customer will lose him more money than he thinks he is saving with this stunt. He knows he wrong, so it won't help to tell him what he already knows.

Don't worry. You will have your bar back in less than a week. I, on the other hand, will be stuck with a sub-par black bar and a broken titanium bar. Wohoo for me!

I have no other choice. Peter just told me that The end of May would be the earliest production date for any titaniums, and its more likley to be in June. Its not fair to you to make you wait that long, so I will bite the bullet and get ****ed on this one.

 

If you get the black one, do you ship back the other one and drop the claim?

No. I wait till they come to investigate the claim and give me money and then World One bills me for a second bar. I am so unbelievably pissed, but I don't see any other way out.

 

On a happier note, the USS is in the mail.

 

Blake, I don't mind black for my black mini. My intake hose on my CAI will be black. So maybe we can work something out and you can get the titanium caome june. Just don't mess my black bar up to much while its on your car. Ken

 

That sounds like a good deal And don't worry about the quality of the bar. Steve knows how **** I am about keeping everything in perfect condition, or else he probably wouldn't have let me use his for so long...

Blake, that sucks what is going on with your bar. At least your USS is on the way. I need to call M7, I never got an invoice for the part as he said. I am also annoyed by a NAM vendor, I ordered an exhaust and I guess he changed his mind on the price and now he will not answer phone messages or PMs. I am looking on the bright side, that's $599, for a down payment on a house!
