I love it! Can't hear it anymore because of the M7 exhaust, but the butt dyno thinks it's got more poop.

Realy? That is sweet. What do you think of volume from the outside? Is it the same or louder than mine?

The exhaust? It's loud!!!! Inside with the rear seat removed, it's unbearable on long uphill grades. I want Peter to engineer a larger muffler to tone down the volume a little, but keep the wonderful low frequency growl. I am giving Brad the M7 and going back to the Milltek until then.

From the outside it's about the same volume as the Alta, but the sound is a little different. There is a less volume in the cabin even with the firewall divider removed and you don't get that wonderful whistle that everybody loves. If you are comfortable with cutting, splicing and soldering the throttle body wiring harness, and laying open the whole front of the car, you will be fine. I don't consider it a DIY install for the general public. I think you can pretty much kiss your warranty goodbye, also.

I think I'm going to avoid it till I get the m62, then... I will get the pro with the 62mm throttle body and get everything ported and polished (except for the head.. I don;t wana break the bank too much.)

220 more miles and almost time for my 8th oil change. I can't believe I'm already to 40K. It seems like I just bought my MINI a few months ago.

Hardly broken in. I will almost be out of warranty by the time I get back. Not that I use it, anyway.

hopefully we do. I'm probably going to drive a little outside of indy and join up with the convoy on the way in... I love finding greasy spoon resturants in small towns off the interstate out here in the midwest. They have some of the best burgers ever.

The paperwork just talks about a tour and such. Somone else posted about driving on the track. I think it was someone from Indy.
