Its done now, but looking at the weather on the internet, its not over. Looks like a big one is on the way. It stopped rainning for the minute, but the wind has picked up a lot.

Can't blame you for that. No worries in the Jeep though. Not a fun drive to do it in though.

Hey it's sunny up here in Reno Big stuff comin in later. A very soggy and justa tad bit of snow over Donner. I think I hit the break between storms so I didn't have to put chains on....well the "monkey's" would have. I don't put chains on the company car (not my job!).... Leave out of here on Thursday afternoon and no snow forcasted....so I may have dodged that bullet.

I'm thinking about buying the Schroth harnesses for my Mini. They are on a group buy, how do you like yours?

They work great.....don't use them around town...too hard to get in "n out...but for the road, nothing better. Even if you aren't in the twisty's, they help to hold your shoulders back so you don't get as tired. Easy to install and easy to click in 'n out. Word of caution....most HPDE's require that the instructor (ie passanger) have the same restraints as the driver...thats why I bought both sets. The other thing is that they are DOT approved...and remember to close your door before putting them on.....trust me I know

I remember the door thing, you had mentioned that before. I thought you liked them. If I buy them, I will buy both sides, then I don't have to worry about it.
Besides, they could be fun on a date, if nothing else, just to see her expression.

Yeah....like,,,,,, Get In, Shutup and Hold On
Also get the pads....otherwise your shoulders will get sore.....they are kinda pricey, but you can get generic ones fron Kragen/Auto Zone/Pepboys for 1/2 the price....but they don't say Schroth It would make for an interesting 1st date.........

I think I'm going to break down and order them, the group buy is a good price. They are checking on the pads also. I will get those also, hopefully at a good price.

My dogs will think the Mini is a toy, since they are bigger than it.

Yeah, your dogs would chew it up and spit it out. I can still access my webcam so the power hasn't gone out at home. It looks like it's raining pretty hard. I have jury duty on Thrursday, but Friday I should be able to start on my suspension project. Blake, how's my TSB? Willum, your dipstick should be here next week. I have only pulled mine out once and found it so flimsy that I never did it again. I change my oil often enough that I'm not worried about running low as long as there isn't a puddle under the car. Just stick the new one in and consider it a plug.

If its rainning Friday, and I can't work, I will drive up and help. If you don't still have jury duty that is

I postponed mine until November.

Thanks....hold on to an oil filter as well. I can't believe how flimsy the dip stick is....I've tried to be careful.....but it is also time for an oil change. It's like you have to hold your gum in your left cheek, close your right eye, then pray it goes back in w/o any problems. Still no rain here in Reno. But I saw on the news that I80 west bound was closed due to spin outs etc. Time to go make my contribution to the gambling gods. Then back at 0001 to make sure all is well with the upgrades.

Tech, after just pulling up the weather, it looks like your house is getting ponded.
