Any idea what the p/n is for the stock oil dipstick ?? When I was checking and toping off yesterday, I noticed the I had a bend/Kink in the shaft about 6-7in up from the tip. And it didn't feel right going back in...don't want to loose a piece of it down inside the crankcase...bad thing to have unwanted parts down there even if they are plastic....so I think a new one is in order.
Off to Reno tomorrow AM...back on Thursday late PM.....without the MINI....thank goodness!!

Hey, Steve.
I followed up with TirePros and had them check the pressure in each tire
40/41/40/41
I turned off the car, turned the key to on then off x3 (to access the reset mode?), had them reduce each tire pressure to 38, started the car, held down the tire pressure button until the lamp illuminated, and drove off. The warning lamp light went out and hasn't come back on. Now, I don't know if it was any one or more of those things that had an effect. All I know is that it worked.

Steve tells the truth. I've never made so much money but been so poor as when I got married and had kids........

Steve:
Doug at TirePros can get the Kuhmo tire SPT XL 205/45/17 for $119.99 which is more expensive then tirerack.com at $89.00 + shipping. He does not recommend the tire, however, due to it's poor performance, tendency to cup, and low wear mileage.

ECSTA MX. Don't care about the SPT. And that's what everyone says when they don't care a product or can't get a good price.

That has been a problem discussed on NAM in the past. The part #11437509784 is what I looked up on www.realoem.com. I have a part on order with Sterling MINI that hasn't shipped yet that I could add this to if you would like. Let me know.

EDIT: I'm on a different price level since I have ordered so much from them so I may be able to get it a lot cheaper with no shipping cost.

Go to User CP/Edit Options/Date and Time Options. Then down to the window with "DST Correction Option" and make sure it is set to automatic. Save settings and exit.

You guys are making me jealous with all the mods. Whats the best place to buy an Alta 15% and Alta CAI. And if all it takes to get installed is a case of beer, well I always have an extra case in the garage. By the way when you retire (For you Blake) you have the time, money, and the kids have left home. Now its just me and the mini. Ken
