Should we invite her to join?

OK last night my wife had eXtra or ET or one of those shows that try to make people care about "famous" people. Usually I just walk by and make fun of her for caring about these people, BUT last night I had to do a double take. Britney Spears was driving a Mini soft top with her child in the back.

Should we try to get her to come to a breakfast if her tour comes through town?

I thought you were asking if we should invite her to the forum. To that I would answer yes. Might raise the intellectual caliber of our discussions.

As I recall, that was footage of Britney tooling around with the kid in the backseat, and NOT in a carseat. I just don't think I'd even want to know she even drives a car, let alone a MINI.

I don't think the baby is loose in this picture.
Looks like you can see the straps (always envy babies for having racing harnesses). To avoid the tilting of the head I recommend double sided scotch tape though

The controversy over this picture was because they recommend to have children under a certain age facing backwards.

I can't show that picture to my wife, she won't drive her car anymore, can't really stand B.S.

This came up about a year ago. She was driving with the baby in her lap and not in a car seat.

In the picture above, the seat is in the wrong direction and that pic is more than a year old. Its the Second baby problem she had http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/12817053/

Talk about stupid. All the MORE reason to NEVER allow her to be a part of anything sane.

This is an old story, but, heck! Why not offer Ms. Spears an open invitation to attend a MINI event if she ever passes through your area? It would be hospitable and very MINI to do so. Just make sure you send her some guidelines, like how to put the carseat in the backseat, as well as how to properly strap her child into it.

Came across this site: http://www.minirepository.com/category/celebrity-mini/

You guys might want to add Jennifer Love Hewitt and a few others. They also mention the tv show Big Brother but it is the UK version.

You assume, of course, that she knows how to read. It's obvious, too, that she doesn't care to follow the "rules", or even attempt to clean up her already tawdry act.

I actually wanted to start this post with how much I hate this whole celebrity bashing. I admit, I do it too... but taking a step back and looking under how much observation they are, it just came to me how many 'stupid' things I do on a daily basis ... spill a coffee, have my shirt only tucked in half, make a stupid comment, not to talk of what I wear when I let the dog out the door in the morning.

But while writing the Ritchie's, Lohan's, Spears' and Hilton's came to mind and I have to say that even with the view above that is just plain dumb.
If this happens to regular people it will be posted on Fark with a Florida tag

I once met Tonya from MTV Real World on my flight and had a 10 min talk with her after leaving the plane. I was surprised how different (and nicer) she seems without cameras. Not to mention HOT !
Agreed, 10 min isn't very long to know somebody but it gave me hope that not all of the celebrities are brainless.
