I thought I had seen this a while back on the JCW site out of the UK... but I could be mistaken. Do you know what the actual video release date is?

PS: I like the video too

It looks like an updated version of the video that has been on the JCW UK site. It seems to show some of the new stuff. Great video for those into JCW parts. Like me.

I don't know how do you guys can afford to mod your mini's, let alone the jcw package, ontop of a $30,000 MCS payments?!. I must be the only one on this thread that hasn't won the lottery. LOL :impatient

I don't actually have any JCW parts on my MINI...yet. And my MINI wasn't 30k.

I bought my MINI used, with the JCW kit, for 26K in 2004, with a few thousand miles on it. It was a pretty good deal at the time (Motivated seller). It has every available option except Nav, which I didn't want, nor does it have an alarm.

That then allowed me (and my surprisingly enthusastic wife) to spend thousands of dollars messing with the car, after that.

Its hard to find used MCS's around here (Toronto) especially with a JCW package. So i settled with a nice '05 MC corporate driven, low km's with an sweet extended warrently built-in. I have been dreaming about an aero-kit for my mini long before i bought the car but couldn't beleive the $4000 price tag just for some painted body panels!
Apparently every Mini owner in canada is holding onto their Minis...We are selling them like hot-cakes

How do people buy $60K Boxsters, $90K M5s?
  1. It's called debt. The bank owns most of the cars, not the "owners".
  2. It's called "old age". After the kids are gone, empty nest, a little older, there is more disposable income.
  3. It's called "independently wealthy" ... Daddy's money
  4. It's called "Woot! MS just went up 30 points!!!!"
  5. It's called "work three jobs"

And it's called

1. being married with no kids
2. two nice incomes
3. and no money pit to pour our dollars into - unless it's called the gas tank of an SUV.... Not THIS household! :-D

HEY! I'm at work right this second. At least it pays well.

Dave

One of the things that kills me is the auto insurance here in Canada, especially here in Ontario. Im 28, married, no accidents, prefect driving record, have had 5 cars before this Mini, and im paying $206/month (canadian)...And thats on a '05 Mini. And this was the cheapest I could find!
So really, if insurance was somewhat reasonable here, I could have bought myself a new MCS...probably with an aerokit too
lol
