Hello everyone, first post here. Perhaps informative to others who have an F56 JCW LCI2.
Did Mini change the rear brakes for the F56 Mini LCI2? I assumed it would be the same from 2015 through 2023.
I purchased front and rear ceramic brake pads from Powerstop. Front pads installed fine, with no issues.
However, during installation, my mechanic noticed the rear pads are too small and don't seat properly. You can see from the image below that the top row is the OEM and the bottom row is aftermarket. Clearly, the shapes are different.
I did some research on Mini's parts website and the drawings for the 2023 Mini Cooper JCW rear brakes also do not look the same as the ones pictured in the above image:
However, I did notice that images of the F54 Clubman rear brake pads look similar:
Quick update on the rear brakes. I am not sure about previous models but the 2023 Mini JCW uses the exact same rear brakes as the F54 Clubman ALL4 S. With the help of Powerstop, we took an educated guess that based on the hardware and shape of the pads, they sent me rear aftermarket pads for the F54 Clubman. Took the car to the shop to have them installed and they fit perfectly.

Thanks for the update. Maybe Mini up-sized the rear rotors use the F54 units to combat the stability control system killing the rear brakes at 15k miles with "spirited" drivers.
Going through this now with a 2023 JCW. Same issue, received rear pads that don't fit. Spent about half an hour on the phone with Carbotech for track pads, and we were both crossing our fingers that we had it right..
1752 is the backing plate number for carbotech. Not sure if this carries over to other pad manufacturers.
FWIW I'm blown away by the service of Carbotech. They had these plates brought in, pads made, and delivered to me in 5 days (with a little overnight shipping of course). I love companies that help me get my list done for track days!

So I just had the other end of this, my 2023 JCW 2dr with a manual seems to have the same brake pad as the regular Cooper S 2dr and not the F54 clubman. I had ordered XP-10's from Carbotech for a trackday this weekend and sure enough the CT1752's are not correct. I'm going to have to call them and see about getting a set of CT1800's
