Performance Brake pads for F56? Do they exist?

The stock brakes on my F55 are pretty bad. Does anyone make street performance pads for this car? My budget doesn't allow for a BBK.

EBC have added the F56 to their catalog but haven't actually made any pads to send to distributors/retailers yet. Hawk's website data is FUBAR, so who knows if they fit gen 3 cars. Carbotech will make pads if I send them backing places, but I don't terribly want to go without my brakes for the time it takes.

Anybody found anything?

We've had the EBCs on order for months and they may have them by the end of the year but no promises yet.
When we do get them:

Way'S as always was the first place I checked! Followed by ECS, which also only has OEM and JCW pads. OutMotoring lists pads but seems to be stuck without product the same S way. Really frustrating.

More follow-up: Wilwood has a 12.9" kit for the F-series MINIs:

(I know, I know — not pad only like I was asking about. But I soooo miss the wilwoods on my R53!)

So question with these brakes is do they fit under the stock mcs wheels, specifically the 17" cosmos spoke. Because I want them bad as well.

On a more important note, you said your brakes were poor, mine are better than a lot of cars, I have heard of an issues where air gets into the brake lines, could it be possibly you have a malfunctioning system?

Yeah I never heard anyone complaining about the stock Mini brakes, either the F56 or even the R56. I thought the brakes on my 2007 were great. Of course the ones on my 2014 are unbelievable. Maybe get the dealer to check them out. I've heard of people changing the pads to lessen all the brake dust that comes with the stock ones, but not to improve stopping.

I suppose thats an option. I can stop at about 0.7g, but corner at over 1g sustained (as indicated on MINI Connected's forceometer). The rubber should be the limiting factor, not the pads. It hadn't occurred to me that this wasn't normal, because it does stop hard, just not as hard as I expect after years of driving a 2009 Clubman.

The car did sit on the lot for a year before I bought it. Maybe the brake fluid just aged badly?
