MarioKart Tune

Sending off ECU Unit to MarioKart this upcoming Monday!!! Need a "TUNE" that adjusts multiple engine systems for more power AND controlled power at the same time. That and the new Swain Coated (White Lightning) Catted Downpipe ( https://www.racdyn-usa.com/PROD/130+...xoCtxAQAvD_BwE ) along with current upgrades should put me near 285+hp running 93 Octane plus a percentage of E85.

Holy cow that's a lot of stuff you've already done to that car, that's awesome. Mario makes some great stuff. I have his catless downpipe and I should have gotten his tune. Not that I don't love my Dinan, but similar money could be spent for a better tune through him. Curious to see some dyno numbers afterwards if you get to.

Wonder if that will throw codes with stock set up & Dinan module. That looks like it will clear my iSweep brace tho.

Installed my MarioKart ECU Tune today...still running stock downpipe (Swain Tech is busy and still has my RacdynDP for White Lightning Ceramic Coating)…

Mini runs "smooth" and definitely has better power feeling in the 6000-6500 rpm range...but it was raining so I couldn't go all out. Gonna be drizzling the next few days.
I do have the 1st AutoX of the year on Feb 1st so I can see how the tune does before I add the 2.75" Catted Downpipe. Getting NO CODES right now and shouldn't get any codes
when the downpipe is added, I must add that the NM Engineering "Off-Road" Exhaust removes the second downstream Cat and is already helping.

Got to run today in 3rd and 4th gears to 6500 rpm each...Results>>>

20-21.5 Boost AND 11.6 to 11.7 AFR (Air to Fuel Ratio) which means it was NOT RUNNING LEAN!!! Was running 17% E85 with 93 Octane Fuel Mix.

Can't wait for Coated Catted Downpipe (2.75") to get back from Swain Tech Coating...will make a bit more difference.

Drag Times BEFORE MarioKart ECU RPM Tune
60FT 2.3880 seconds
1/8 mile 9.5098 seconds
1/8 mph 81.32
1/4 mile 14.3160 seconds
1/4 mph 104.43

Drag Times AFTER MarioKart ECU RPM Tune
(Traction was AWFUL...tires spinning thru 1.st and 2nd...still faster at all points...but once it stopped 1/4 time and mph was quicker)

60ft 2.250
1/8 mile 9.4100
1/8 mph 80.66
1/4 mile 14.2161
1.4 mph 106.11

Once I add new Swain Ceramic Coated RACDyn Downpipe and work on traction a bit...I think 13s and 108 are viable (maybe better)

Drag Time Slips and VEEP OBD2 Reader and now AutoX results

AutoXed Today and came in first in STU and 23rd in Pax and 26th in Raw time out of 178...still playing with things but was happy with the runs and power.

Next add the Ceramic Downpipe...Scale the Mini...Add adjustable sway bar arms to the front (already have them on the back...set the car up to neutral and better weight adjustment

AutoXed this weekend....Mini was too fast for the 225/45/17 RE71s but was speedy.

Gonna do some suspension tuning:

Add the Bigger Ceramic Coated Downpipe

Corner Weight the MINI and set up the best weight at each corner adjusting the spring perches.

The Sway Bars will be disconnected and then connected in neutral positioning

Re-Align the Mini

Order some slightly wider but lower sidewall 235/40/17 tires

On a prepped drag strip with bolt on's and a tune I was pulling a 13.5 @ 105.88mph witha 2.1 60 ft. you should be able to pull similar times

I installed my 2.75" Swain "White Lightning" Ceramic Coated 200 Cell Count DownPipe from Racing Dynamics. It was a bit of a chore but turned out great.
Hooked up to my NM Engineering 2.75" Exhaust it will flow faster and add power. The install took just under 2.5 hours on a lift. Basically we uninstalled the
the stock heat shields that were a bit tuff to remove...one of which we cut out except the small section that was behind the turbo itself. Since the Ceramic Coating
will contain most of the heat, the heat shields basically become just extra weight. The fitment was spot on! The removal of the shield probably dropped ~5-7 pounds of dead weight also.

The stock Cat looked to be at minimum about 400 Cell Count. The NM Eng Exhaust already Deletes the Secondary Cat, Adds Power and also Drops the Weight of the Mini Cooper JCW.
The MarioKart RPM ECU Tune boosts power and was done with the inclusion of the DownPipe. No Cel Lights Pop Up.

I'm so glad to find your post!
I just bought a 2020 MINI JCW F56 was looking for a tune after install downpipes. I was checking Milltech and other brands, but my friend told me with new downpipes require an ECU tune. How is MarioKart tune going? I checked on Youtube but no clear datas was showing. Thanks for share your modified log post!

Mario Tune works great...No Check Engine Lights and the Downpipe, NM Exhaust and Tune works great together...I also added the Carbon Eventuri Intake so the Hood Scoop is Functional...

My JCW manufactured on 10/2019. So it should be fine to use Mario Tune right? due to the newly locked system. And may I know how much does the tune cost? Really looking forward to buying the tune and downpipes. I was also checking out Eventuri intake aswell! They are a bit expensive with the all carbon option. Thanks again for the reply!
