JCW Removing rear wheel arches
Removing rear wheel arches
Hey gang,
I need to remove the rear wheel arches on my 2019 JCW to reattach the marker lights. I went aftermarket a few years ago & the double-sided tape came loose, so the light fell inside the rear fender well. I can't quite get my hands inside to apply glue or more double-sided tape & figure removing the arch is the easiest way. I found video here: F56 arch removal
Is it really that easy? I have some interior trim removal tools if needed/recommended. This seems like an easy job I just wanna avoid F'ing up the arch trim.
TIA for any advice.

@fridayxiii yup, it’s that easy 😉
You can use trim removal tools or just your fingers to pry the lower area of the arch outwards where the quarter panel meets the rear bumper (below the rear side marker).
Super simply and under five minutes to remove the arch, clean the area and apply adhesive.
* There are a few clips that may be brittle and might break due to age and cold temperatures
Hope this helps and motor on -Rich
