Ready whenever you are, Winter!

Put winter wheels on yesterday in preparation for winter since temperature is hovering near freezing overnight in Toronto area now.
Love the dynamic suspension on 2024 F56 JCW. Makes the ride so much nicer on RFTs compared to 2013 R56 MCS I had before. Not a huge fan of silver rims, maybe will wrap them in black, but that's for next season.
Eager to see how these Dunlop SP WINTER SPORT 4D handle in snow.

Hello fellow 1-6!

got our fist bit of frozen water falling here in Manitoba this week.
Iv'e been busy away from home/lazy and am only just now trying to find winter Wheels&Tires myself.
Those big front brakes sure make wheel shopping difficult.

Hello hello! I wonder how many 1TO6 units are here in Canada. Can’t be too many considering there are only 999 of them worldwide.
As for wheels, yes. The set I ended up getting was the only one available from MINI. Didn’t want to go aftermarket. Too bad the variant with black rims was not available anywhere near me, so I decided to go with silver. As I mentioned I might consider wrapping them in black before next season. Ride quality is good though, so far no complains. But I’ve yet to test them on snow

Yeah, was the best deal when I bundled it with the order for my car in Sept 2021.

So you drove on them over snow already I assume. Are these equipped with Dunlop SP WINTER SPORT 4D tires? How do you like them?

Car is great in the snow...It was delivered on Dec 31, 2021, so I spent the first few months driving it in winter. This will be the third winter for the tires, but we really don't get much snow here in Toronto and between all the cars we have, I've only put 22K on the JCW in almost 3 years.

I am just a bit to the north in Richmond Hill. Agreed, not too much snow lately in GTA besides couple of mandatory snow storms. And we all know you have much higher chance of blowing your tire in the pothole rather than have trouble with snow/ice on Toronto roads...

With plenty of slush on the roads car gets dirty very quick, but I find it funny how well it lets you visualize the aerodynamics of the hood
