Catless Downpipe without tune

Hello fellow NAMS,

Im thinking of purchasing a Milltek catless downpipe. I know a tune is a must to get the benefits of having a catless downpipe, however, I will not be able to tune it for 3 months due to budget. Will I be loosing power over the stock downpipe? Is it safe to run it with stock tune? And how louder will the car be with just the stock exhaust and catless downpipe?

Thanks!

You will be fine with out a tune. The tune will make your Mini a monster, while talking full use of your DP, also the tune will take care of that annoying yellow light on the dash.
I sell DP.s and tunes for our car, send me an email at mariopalza@gmail.com if you would like more info

Yeah I ran a catless downpipe without a tune for a few months. You will notice a power increase, turbo spool sound, and nicer exhaust note. Only disadvantage is the CEL.

I can only imagine what my Borla Exhaust will sound like once all cats are removed, I know it will be aggressive. Wouldn't have it any other way.
