Got a new JCW

Greetings. Had a 2018 MCS and loved it till I needed room for a GT3 and missed having it enough I bought another. The deal was incredible, I wish Porsche dealers were as accommodating as I got 7100 off a 2019.

One question, I want to change the rims and tires, I have the optional 18" on summer performance tires is there much of a secondary market for them or does everyone change them and flood the market?

Thanks for any insight.

Been modding like crazy and since I had great luck with the Dinan Elite on the MCS I am doing it again on the JCW.

Very nice . Congrats. Take off 18's go pretty quick if priced right and you don't ask a kings ransom for them.
What kind of mods do you plan on doing besides the Dinan Elite?

Thanks. It was pretty loaded with a MSRP of 43k. But I have blacked everything out already, tint, changing the Sid-markers, got the Night Flag ( whatever its called) mirror caps and pano sticker to match and assorted other things.

What do you think a fair price would be with rims and tires but NO center caps or TPMS sensors. Thanks

Nice price. Sounds like the modding bug has bitten you.

I have seen those wheels for sale from $1300-$1800, on the higher side were wheels , tires and tpms sensors

Do you think 1500 would be a reasonable ask then?

As far as modding, you should see my RS3. I love Mini's as the prices for mods are very reasonable.

It's a good jumping off point.

Many people coming from other brands find modding Minis expensive. Admittedly there are less manufacturers in the Mini market place in comparison to VW or Honda.

Great looking car. I'm a tiny bit bummed seeing these recent discounts on the JCW's. I special ordered mine at full price (I really wanted a non-sunroof car but with some of the higher trim options) and they just informed me it's at the Georgia Port. But seeing sweet looking cars at great prices...hmmm

Sorry. I didn't even have to push that hard. I was told by the GM Mini is suffering on the sales side, they offered me an even greater discount on a Orange International a whopping 8k if I bought it then and there! It had been sitting for 5 months.

I did manage to also secure their only GP allocation as part of the margin as this one had been sitting a long time as well. The problem is 44k Mini's no matter what's on them is across the street from most likely the same owned BMW dealership and being cross-shopped with pretty decent BMWs with their badge. They said as much themselves.

I love the car and have had my share of ///M cars and prefer this one at this point in time.

Yeah, and with the Dinan ECU remap it'll be about as fast as most Beemers too. And a LOT cheaper than an M-BMW. That's a really nice Mini and you got it for less than I paid for mine in 2014 ($38k).

Looks great. what tires are you running? I like those wheels but I do not want to lower this, was thinking if I could find Michilins in a taller size to fill the gap

Thanks! They are Michelin Pilot Super Sports. 215/40/18. Huge difference over the stock runflats.

Is Dinan actually working on a flash or are you talking about their piggyback Sport/Elite modules?

Ah, nice. My S has the Elite as well but it's coming off this week or the next due to some issues.

Very cool choices for wheels and colors. may I ask what size the 18 wheels are and offset? are they 8 or 8.5 or 9? I think I see spacers, in the pic. may I ask what MM spacer? thanks
