I ordered mien way back in septemeber with the H/K system, i got it, took it home, and being foolish as i am, didnt realize tehre is no H/k system(i'm positive)...we werent billed for it, but still. I goin to the dealer this week because i ahve to take a picture anwyway, so i goign to ask them about it, and show them that i ordered it with it. What do you knowledgable forum members think will happen? what will they tell me? they cant just put it in, can they? shoudl i bargain and get free stuff out of them? ..........also, can anyone reccomend what kind of wax to use....i have black on black!

 

Seems kinda strange that your sales person did not go over the invoice with options sheet with you on delivery point by point. You order something, they have to make sure that you get it correctly. If they don't provide it then they give you credit or another MINI that fits the order sheet.

They cannot add the H/K upgrade aftermarket- it is too costly. Aftermarket audio upgrade is more like $1000-2000+.

Most likely they will give you credit $550 and owe you some free stuff. I think that is a lousy deal. Do they have anything in stock that is close to what you ordered? I guess you could ask for an additional year of free warranty for your MINI -brings it up to 4 years maintenance for free.

Since you weren't billed for it, don't expect any kind of refund. You'll probably end up with a choice of turning the car back in or learning to live with it as it is. A lot will depend on your dealer.

And, I think you may be outta luck on the H/K if they didn't charge you for it.

 

Ditto on the Zaino. That stuff is so awesome. You really have to see it for yourself to believe the shine it produces.

May I say that Klasse All-In-One followed by p21s Carnuba wax is equally awesome- and not very labor intensive- my arm is still attached

Ditto... I ordered mine back in September, when I first got the order # and VIN #... I checked the order status in the Owners Lounge... the HK WAS listed... as late as 10/7... I have a print-out... sometime between 10/7 and 11/30... MINIUSA deleted it from my order! MA said I could refuse the car and reorder, or take it as is... I didn't want to wait another 3 months just for the HK... I got a couple freebies for it... and I'm OK... wish MINIUSA would have said something... or thrown something in, rather than my dealer doing it all.
