JCW GarageInterested in John Cooper Works (JCW) parts for your 2nd Generation MINI? This is where JCW upgrades and accessories for the MINI Clubman (R55), Cooper and Cooper S (R56), and Cabrio (R57) MINIs are discussed.
I understand that installation for the JCW Strut Brace should be pretty quick and easy. But is there anything I should know other than just remove the bolts, install the brace and tighten to 34nm?
I may get the strut brace for my JCW, so I'd like to know this as well. The MINI dealer wanted to charge me over $100 labor for the install and tried to tell me it's complicated?
Note: The JCW strut brace needs to be the revised version if it's going on a car with the JCW tuning kit. I had the tuning kit fitted after the strut brace and the dealer put it back on, it made a terrible rubbing rattle/creaking noise against the air filter when moving and caused scuff marks. It's now been removed for good

One of the main reasons when I go to get my JCW Stage I kit installed tomorrow that I may not install the JCW cold air intake.
Right now, I have a DDM and hope it's at least as good as the JCW because I can easily modify the DDM.
