JCW JCW Aftermarket Wheels
Looks like the AC Schnitzer front splitter is $400!

I tend to agree, for the money and "if" the install is easy, the ACS splitter may be a worthwhile investment.
Just scoped the instructions. There is a version for the Cooper and S.
That being said it really does not look like it fits that well. It is not a smooth transition from the from of the JCW to the splitter. It will definitely hold water and dirt in the space between the underside of the existing body and the splitter and would likely be impossible to clean. Check the instruction's and you will see what I mean. I really wanted this to work for me because I have PDC and the front sensor will not allow the JCW splitter on my car.

I read the instructions. I don't think it would be difficult at all. I think I could knock it out in an hour or less using my buddy's lift. You drill a couple holes and remove and replace some screws. Now, just need to find a local distributor that lists it for a little less cash. Or, at least the former, and hope for the latter.
[QUOTE=DunkM;4203837]Haven't been able to check the instructions but the pictures make it look really close. Weird, this is the exact look I want for mine as I really believe it makes the "chin" of the car look like it should have all along.[/QUOTE
On my JCW the"chin" slopes back then flattens out. So when you add a flat piece of plastic you get a sharp inside point. Absolutely the only way to clean that would be to take it off. I agree with you on the look ...but it would be way better if the had a curve up at the back to transition the intersecting slopes. Probably a cost thing...

Well, that shoots that in the ***! Contacted ACS US about shipping. Even though I'd be ordering it through their office in California I would have to pay shipping from Germany. Estimated $100 shipping. I asked if they might be stocking the part locally any time in the future and got an unequivocal "NO". To tell the truth the guy didn't sound like he was that interested in my business anyway.
the MON front splitter is my favorite. i feel like it flows perfectly...but yes, it did cost me an arm and a leg.
anyway, to go back on topic, whoever discovered the TS10's fit, i hate you as i thought i had my wheel chosen but now i have to reevaluate the TS10's..

Take a look at the Enkie PF01
thanks man. 35 series though...damn. that would get destroyed in NYC.
i would do 225/40's...but you did just help me figure out that i COULD do it.
btw, i have a non-JCW f56 S...i just got on this thread cuz i will eventually get the BBK so this is the better thread to pay attention to.

The sidewall is only slightly lees than the oem.
yes, i saw your TS9's...like those too, but also saw the TS10's fit, as per someone else's post.
i was originally going for the RPF1's or RSE52's but it's such a hard decisions. the PF01's really look nice too.

and on to the ever ongoing TPMS debate. If you know esys well enough, or a guy that does a lot of F series BMWs, you can code them out. I just had my guy take care of it for me earlier this week! bmwminicoding .com
Just empty. It's still a selectable option in the NAV, but nothing happens. We couldn't just disable the alert.

Enkei Racing PF01
I'm considering buying the Enkei PF01's for my JCW. Does anyone one know where I can find a set of black ones? Apparently they are available by special order from Enkei but that means some place has to buy 40. Tirerack won't bite on the 40. All they carry is the sliver.
UPDATE - Photoshopped silver ones onto my car and they looked kinda good. They will either pop and I'll say "hell yeah" or they will be off to powder coat shop. Will report findings......
Update 2 Here is my mini with Enkei 18X8 PF01's with Pilot Sport 215's. Suspension is stock at the moment. Zero issues with brake clearance. Not crazy about the silver as I suspected. It just looks to "cute" now. Will probably powder coat to something dark.

I just installed a set of NM Engineering 17" wheels on a new JCW convertible and everything fit fine. There was no problem clearing the big brakes and no wheel spacers were needed.
Near as I can tell they also increased the car's total track by 1.5 inches (3/4" each side) and removed 32lbs of un-sprung weight..... YES 32 LBS TOTAL!...... 8 LBS PER WHEEL over the stock 17" JCW wheel!
I would have liked to change over to non-runflats at the same time but since my tires were still new I just swapped they over to the new wheels (now I wish I had done that too). As you would expect, the lighter wheel mass made for a noticeably more responsive car.
