Need Advice - JCW Brake Pad & Rotor Replacement

Hey guys,

I have a 2009 JCW that needs the front brake pads and rotors replaced. I am on a budget, but don't want to install crappy products either. Does anyone have recommendations on products and/or places in the Seattle area?

Thanks
Ryan W

check out the EBC reds we sell as they are great and cost effective

Then we have our WMW rotors that are as good as stock if not better, just not the BMW price tag.

Does anyone make slotted rotors for the jcw? (slotted only, not drilled and slotted)

I've been doing extensive research lately on rotors,, as my JCW needs all new ones. I did see a few slotted ones but can't remember where I spotted them. Did you try checking to see whether EBC makes any? I think I searched on ECS Tuning for some. Maybe Mini Mania, WMW...ugh. I'll see if I can find the link again.

I settled for the EBC Redstuff pads and their dimpled and slotted rotors.

I am also looking for slotted-only rotor for my 09 JCW any recommendation? any other brake pads that are also good but not pricey?

We offer a slotted rotor
http://www.waymotorworks.com/nm-jcw-...ke-rotors.html

But we prefer the plain face as they are more affordable, last longer and are quiet

Check out some options here. Good reviews on the Akebono pads for a quiet and less brake dust pad.

I also redid my brakes back at the end of winter. Factory rotors and EBC Red Stuff pads. The pads are working very well!! Minimal dust, quiet and no pull after they were broken in.

I just received front and rear slotted ones from NM Engineering and will be installing them this Thursday along with the ECS Exact-Fit SS braided brake lines, Motul RBF600 brake fluid, and Hawk HPS pads.
