Tuning? What happened to the Alta Accessport?

So COBB confirmed that Alta is no longer selling APs for the MINI and they aren't either. What are my options for tuning a JCW Clubman? Why did Alta stop selling the AP?

Thanks in advance.

Odb2 port tuning does not work on newer n18 powered mini's....
It still works on the older n14 cars...

COBB makes the AP and Alta is dependent on them for support. COBB dropped out of MINI tuning entirely because the market is too small and they didn't sell enough to be worthwhile for them.

The AP is essentially a paper weight in my eyes. There are other options out there such as DNA Tuning (which is what I have), Evolve, and NM Engineering.

^The AP is a canned tuned. You can't really make any changes to the tune at all while the Evolve and DNA tunes, you are sending a duplicate copy of your ECU to someone and they are fine tuning it that way. Its more personalized as not every single car is exactly the same. Pretty sure companies like Evolve and maybe even DNA stopped doing these kinds of tunes for a while. Not sure if they started doing them again. Ive been out of the Mini game for quite some time.

DNA no longer does MINI tunes as far as i know but Evolve i believe still might. Others still in the game are NM Engineering and my personal favorite, Manic.
