Wagner or any name brand. The ebay models tend to not have as high of fin density. And if you're not getting higher density, then why bother changing it in the first place?

I use the Forge on my '13 GP and it works and fits great.

Which?

just clicked on the link Ovrclck

$60 discount? doesn't sound like much of a deal. 11%

and who's installing? how much to install?

been reading this thread I started and one guy makes a good point that the HP difference is nil and a bigger IC really blocks your radiator.

thinking maybe just leave my JCW stock

Most likely I will install myself.

New FMIC is a must in my opinion. IAT's will see a significant drop in temperature. I drive my JCW hard and with my Manic Tune, it's a must if I want to stay in boost.

no problem with it blocking the rad.

Don't go cheap on $2 bill intercooler unless you're seriously hurting for cash! Many high quality options if you up your disposable income.

Sometimes spending more money is just that. My ebay IC does quite well and have the dyno results and logs showing my IAT and Boost staying high, too high actually sometimes. But that's another story.

If your IC fits and is larger , your better off than stock. I have not heard of anyone not getting good results from the clones, which are just that, and most fin density changes are probably not making enough flow diff. But again it's your money to spend how you please.

JCW Intercooler Rec?

There is no reason to be concerned about blocking the radiator. Of the thousands of people that have installed larger intercoolers nobody has reported issues.

This is in every type of climate too. It's gets +100F with extremely high humidity here in NC in the summer and I've had no problems even in stop and go traffic.

I looked around for a while and decided on the Wagner Tuning Competition intercooler. Quality construction and perfect fit. I've been happy with the results. http://www.wagner-tuning.com/Competi...049_p_101.html

I have the Wagner as well. There's a thread here https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...er-review.html where I posted about my install experience and also some datalogs of IATs with the stock vs. Wagner FMIC, doing an identical 3rd gear pull to redline.

If your car has the lower crash bar like mine then you'll need to do a minor mod to the lower crashbar - see the thread I linked.

No regrets on the Wagner. If I were making the decision today, I'd be looking really seriously at the new Helix.
