Yesterday, I recieved my static-cling union jack flag for my sunroof from minicooperparts.com along with a glove compartment organizer. Both are amazing!! The static cling flag flew off once after a hasty install, but after I actually cleaned my sunroof and made sure to smooth out all the bubbles, it stayed fine. So far, I've gotten to speeds around 60 mph with the flag on without any problems. Tell me what you think!

Looks nice! I don't imagine that, as a clingy, it is perforated though, huh? If I put anything on the sunroof I would like it to be perforated.

Is is possible for a clingy to be perforated and still have enough "cling" to stay on? I'd buy one... in silver and black.

No, it's not perforated - but the install takes no more than 10 minutes and can be ripped off in a matter of seconds. If you feel the need for some sunlight, a quick conversion is no problem at all!

Looks great! For $25, I see this as a very likely whim purchase in my near future. Even if it only lasts for a few trips... It'd be great to have for a MINI meet.

I could see getting one of those if it came in silver and black! It may not be trully stuck on but $55 compared to $350 is a big difference in price.

Looks sharp!

Thats great! I love it!!! I liked the idea the 1st time I saw it on the website. Thanks for sharing your experience with it! I hope that it will be available in more styles, and designs in the future!

Hmm. what if they made one that was all white. to make the whole roof look white. I guess you'd still see the black border though wouldnt you?

How does the sunroof operate with it installed, I assume the clingy is 2 pieces?

I love the looks.

Do you worry about it a lot since its statically clinging?

I would at 80 to 100 MPH.

Maybe you could put a small dab of something sticky along the leading edge?

I've got one of those clingy sunroof decals too in addition to the meatballs. I think these are great because you can remove them on a whim. They do actually stay on at high speed assuming you take a little more time to remove the water bubbles underneath the decal. I usually like to swap different looks with each carwash. You've got the water on the roof anyway so you might as well use it.

I hope they will make them with a bunch of different styles, therefore you could really customize the MINI anytime you want. One could potentially have a different looking MINI everyday, week, or month. I would like other clingy stuff too, perhaps rally stripes, flames, banners, etc.

You-ifying my MINI is fun
