The Batmini's new Wet Okole's...

Got my Wet Okole's today. I've been waiting patiently for a few weeks now, but started getting ancy when I got an email from Wet Okole saying the cover's shipped.

They were on my doorstep when I got home, and in the car within 30 minutes. w00t!

Thanks to COOPERation for the graphics design! Thanks to all the others who chipped in their ideas.

I already know what I want next... But I've got to convince the misses... Anyhow, let me know what you think!

225 for the seat covers

39 for the graphics
50 for the custom graphics 'set up' fee

20 for the seat pockets in rear of both seats

12 for the UV protectant, deoderizer, and shampoo...

No charge on the ground shipping from DHL

Those covers will come in handy both when you're pullin' g's around those tight corners and for protecting your seats in that damp cave environment. Nice!!

Be careful out there tonight, detective!!

The function of the mat, is to determine the weight of the person sitting in the passenger seat. If the passenger is under 60 lbs, the airbag is disabled. Putting seat-covers in 'alters' the seat, and can affect the way the measurement is taken, possibly resulting in false readings.

I do plan on doing some weight testing to check this, but I have no children or pets, so I'm not worried about the passenger airbag. If the wife sits in the seat, and the airbag disabled light comes on (above the mirror) then I'll look into it further. But these seat covers are designed for the Mini Airbag seats.

The only issue is the 'weight detection' mat in the passenger seat, which is not an issue for me.

They look great!

'Course I've seen them in person now too, but just wanted to throw in my 2 cents worth.

Really like the whole bat theme, but then I would as I'm old enough to have been a kiddy when Adam West was doing it.

That OC mat is a pain in the ***. I have to buckle in my bag of laundry to stop the seatbelt alarm from going off constantly, and there's no way I have 60 pounds of laundry. I never have kids in my car; why should I care if passenger side airbags deploy? It should be possible to de-program this.

??

Love the JB/JB MCS...I have one too, actually just a little bit darker if you believe that. Anyway, I am not getting the whole Batman thing. I mean, do you really love Batman that much? The car is starting to look rather thematic, and not in a good way, no offense.

To each his own I guess. Either way, good craftsmanship for sure.

BatMINI,

Fine looking car. You really have it together. I have 05 JB/JB MCS 12/04 build. Check out the tints on my gallery. I don't know what you can do in your state but I'm all legal.

It looks very nice indeed, but if you don't mind me asking, why were you getting them in the first place? Looks? Or a specific function?
Curious and coverless in TN

Wagnbat,

They look great, but Be careful with the light grey and make sure to clean them regularly. I had Black with Grey Wet Okole seat covers on my Tacoma for 4 yrs until I decided to trash them due to the gross discoloration of the grey. Most of the discoloration will be in the seem areas with dirt build-up in the small of your back section of the cover
