Schroth harness install in a 05 MCS

Anyone installed one. The link I found on here showing pictures didn't exactly make sense on the front bolt location for the strap. I'm assuming it is the one on the side of floorboard right below the sill plate that the stock seat belt strap is attached to. Am I correct? Looks like all the rest of the pictures are correct for installation.

you are correct. one of the latches goes on the bolt near the floor on the outside of the front seat.

I've just been corresponding with HMS about this very issue and was going to try to fit the harness tonight. The factory belt goes on the bolt first and then the Schroth piece. Then put the bolt back in place.

2005 install

Wondered about this also, as it is the case on the 2004 model year also. So is that install method officially approved by Scroth??? Also, then is there a longer bolt to use? This is not a place for guessing....

they do supply a longer bolt for the back seat, but the one next to the front seat already has quite a long bolt. the whole install tok me about 10-15 minutes.

So where exactly do I bolt this to? Do I bolt it to the front seat part rear plate or bolt it to where the torx bolt is that attaches the seatbelt to the side of the car? Need help :(

Do I need bolts different than the factory ones or what?
