Hey guys, I got a guy that wants to sell me some pre-painted, new aero side skirts for $500. Is that a good deal?

 

For reference, Sterling sells them new for $450 a pair plus shipping.

Yes, that's prepainted from the factory. I think they need the vin # to obtain the correct color. Mike in parts at sterling should be able to answer any questions on ordering it and shipping. Or you could go to roadly.com and there is a sterling forum there.

 

Where is Sterling? There's a Sterling BMW by my house in Newport, but I'm not sure if we're talking about the same one, because that one doesn't really do MINI's from what I know.

 

It's in Virginia.

Are the pre-painted side sills available in Hyper Blue? Do they have to be installed at a dealer? How big of a job is it getting the existing ones off?

 

Does anyone know if INDI blue is available as factory painted skirts. I know the color is discontinued but can you still get them from the dealer?

 

There are some pdf instructions floating around somewhere for the installation. You should give sterling mini a call and give them your vin number to see if the skirts can be ordered.
