Racing stripes on spoiler & sunroof?

I'm working on my racing stripes today and was wondering if I should continue the roof stripe onto the spoiler? Any recommendations on that?

I'm doing an offset rally stripe that will be white on the black body, and black on the roof.

How about the sunroof? Should I switch back to white and continue the roof stripe through the sunroof?

If you had a black roof and were doing white stripes I'd say doing white perforated stripes on the sunroof could be cool... But since it's a white top and you'd be doing a different color on the sunroof than on the top itself I wouldn't do it.

I don't see why you couldn't do the spoiler, as long as you can keep the stripes straight and aligned. May as well try it on for a week or two and see what you think once it's done - you can always take it back off if you don't like it.

Yeah, I was leaning towards not doing it as well. A full coverage perforated panel in white with the black stripe in it I think would work really well. Maybe I'll see about adding that.

My thoughts too. I've got enough tape to spare...

Would striped tints look bad just for the sunroof? Like some serious limo tints (5%ish) Just a thought

Turbo Tecnica (more pix over @ MMC) did this and I think it worked out pretty nicely:

I think doing something like this on your roof would look great, where the huge, black expanse of the sunroof is a quite jarring visual break in the otherwise elegant lines of the black stripes.

Yeah, that looks great! I'll have to get those panels and try it out.
