Pinstripes for a Mini

Hi all,

Has anyone gotten their Mini pinstriped, a la Von Dutch? I'm not talking straight, boring little stripes along the side, but those squiggly designs seen on so many 50's hot rods

I'm ... um... thinking about my next Mini already (4 years down the road, since I just bought my current one). My 2007 Cooper has the wide white bonnet stripes with black piping, but I might think of doing something a bit different in a few years time. Not quite sure if the hot-rod look would be appropriate for whatever the 2013 Mini looks like though

Can't wait to see. I think the MINI lends itself to whatever the owner wants to see. There was a cool thread with some photoshopped pics to make the MINI look like a rat rod with steelies and baby moons, side-pipes, etc.

If you flip thru the pictures there are actually some video recordings of the guy painting them...pretty cool.

I had that done to a pick-up and a motorcycle once, but had not thought about it for the MINI. Very tastfully done. I like it.

I had a combination of both. I think pin stripes look very nice and add a touch of class. I guess I got carried away with the rally car look on my MINI and pin stripes did not come to mind. Both cars a nicely done.

I saw those and think they look nice. The great thing about original artwork is that you can have it the way you want, not what is on the shelf!

When I first saw this post I was assuming the worst...typical line right down the side, but after viewing the pics, I have to say it looks great. Very tasteful and classy
