I just call mine the Mini or the little beast. No name. It seems male to me and I've never been any good at naming my male pets either.
The little beast is from when my ex-husband drove it to meet a client who was from Wales. He asked whose 'little beast' it was.

I don't even know if I ever responded to this post, but her name is Lilith. You know, the devil's daughter or Adam's supposed first wife. Anyway, she's an '05 Cooper S possesed by Lilith's soul. I'm on a highway to hell, and this car is taking me there. Straight to the point.
It took a full week for "Cerridwen" to show her name to me. Cerridwen is the name of a celtic goddess of the underworld and various other things. Seems appropriate for her considering the devotion she got from me even before she was built and arrived.

I haven't gotten mine yet, but I plan on blacking it out, so I decided to name it Erebus

My girlfriend kept bugging me to name my Mini, never have been a person to name a car before. Anyway after weeks of deliberation and a night of good old fashion drinking we settled on a name.

I was of a similar mind, but then my stripes got put on. Rather than have the service department take them off before delivery, I just left them on (and didn't have to pay for them!).
