Finally decided on Blueper...my little laser blue Cooper! funny how, when you find the right name, it just fits! I'm a new owner, and love this car. Can't wait to do the Dragon next year - I hope!

Keep the wave alive!

(yes yes, I know Alice Cooper is a guy, I *am* from AZ after all, but hell, I had a girl dog named fox (mulder) too :P )

Lil Red

Oredered in June, mfg in August, due in to the dealer next week. For now it's "Lil Red". Need to spend some time with him/her to decide on a final name, or maybe Lil Red will be it. Anxiously awaiting arrival.

She "decided" on Anka. Little German bling on the front and she would be right at home on the Autobahn.

I love it! My wife keeps asking me if I am going to name the Mini. I reply that I don't know. I haven't named a car before. But this idea... I just might, I just might...

- Yes, the Renown is a joy to pilot (er, drive!).
- The Illustrious is embarking from the driveway.
- Cool vanity plates, too - "HMS Hood"

Ok, it’s not clever, and probably very selfish, but I thought of “Mini Mart” (my name is Martin)… I just thought it sounded good. I guess I could use this temporarily until it names itself. You must be laughing at me right now. It’s okay.

Second MINI: 04 pepper red MCS - "Molly Pepper" or just "Molly"

My wife and I share both cars and love them both.

Here through some of that computer magic and razzle-dazzle is the BS that my subconscious and the black box fed me for MINIMETOO (my MINI's name-he lets me co-opt it as my user name)

Now many people assume that my screen name is a way of shouting that I also drive a MC. But if you thought that yer wrong, oh so wrong. Its a actually a derivation of a little known word in the language of Seven Nations Indians (Seneca and Moe Howard I believe). A name meaning little, swift, cute as a button, furry forest dweller that races around and around Gitchigumi by the shining big sea waters until you get dizzy watching it and barf (it nature's adaptation to insure survival of the species). Honest....that's what it means, really - why would I lie to other Mini owners.

Well with all the requirements in the quoted part of the post 2 above this one only one name is appropriate. He played an English Agent, He drives a MINI. It is the one and only Johnny English played by Rowan Atkinson, you know, Mr. Bean. So you have to name your car Rowan

All kidding aside, I have not come up with one yet either. Never named a car before and may not name this one. Have to wait and see after I get it to see if it names itself.

It's funny but when I started reading this many weeks ago, I thought "NAME A CAR??? These people are INSANE!!!" I have owned five cars and have never named any of them. Not that I didn't call them a myriad of names but i cannot use those words in a public forum. Even the car I loved BEST of all (1967 Cougar XR7) never had name. After reading all of these posts, I realized that my Mini MUST have a name. It hasn't told me its name yet. It is somewhere in the birth canal right now so it might not be able to talk yet but it must and will have a name. Something besides "THIS %$@&#*&%&$&*#*$ CAR!!!!!!"

That is one of the reasons I named my mini Rowan....that and the name also means rugged, red haired in old english names.

I have driven mine for 2 days and don't have a name yet. It will come eventually, I guess. I am just having too much fun behind the wheel to worry about a name... yet!

Good thing the ship didn't sink on it's way across the Atlantic. You would have had to change the spelling to DUNKIN...

I like JADE too.

My boy is named COOOOOP and he wears his name on his licence plate.

Mine's named WHEE ONE but doesn't come when I call so maybe it doesn't make any difference if they have a name.

I named my new MINI Tatum. A nod to my new great-niece, Payton, nicknamed Tatertot or Tatters. MINIs kinda remind me of a Tatertot.

My dog was named Maggie, and she didn't come when I called either!
