OH, I'll make a bet everybody would get it! Especially if you accessorize w/ the Union Jack even a little bit... One of the MINIs I saw at the GWR (see the vanity plate thread) had Union Jack STRIPES, w/ the OBHAVE license plate. Makes the whole, "2 + 2..." connection easier for those not-so-sharp people....

Hi MrsZug! I like Austin and its double meaning! I was sure you would have the perfect name pop into your head. That should work for the tag too.

The Southern Highway is still carrying my 08 MY hardtop. Her name will be Josephine. All of my grandmother's cars were named Josephine so it seems fitting. Her nickname will be MOTOJO. Can't wait!

sorry if I posted twice...

Anyway, I finally figured out a name! Stanley.

My MINI will be coming on the Fidelio next week and Stanley Kubrick used Fidelio as the password in Eyes Wide Shut.

Stanley, not Kubrick, huh? Either way, as long as it makes you happy. Vanity plate? I hope you get your username as a vanity plate!!! (Love it.)

Stanley Kubrick, Very good Director. A Clockwork Orange is one of the best movies of all time, and it was way ahead of its time.

Sorry...couldnt help it.

But love the name

I was thinking about using a character from one of his movies but i dunno yet.

I thought Stanley was a cuter name than Kubrick.

I'm leaning towards "Inara" right now, but I don't think I'll know for sure until I go pick her up.

Any other Browncoats on here?

Moose

Yup, my EB/W Mini is called Moose. It has a roof rack for two bikes ( Antlers) and it goes into full rut mode on the weekends. We, the GF and I , carve the twisties on the car and bikes.

I already have a name for my MINI:

Aoi Kaze -- the Azure Breeze

Currently I won't be able to order until March, but I have my mind set on a LiB/B MCa.

My Mini is called: Tradition

It plays both on the tradition of the car, as well as the tradition of the Crimson Tide football team, which is my team of choice.

The checkerboard theme has implications both of the racing tradition of minis, as well as the fact that it resembles the famous houndstooth hat pattern worn by Bryant.
