Found out I was dying so I named mine with medicine in mind:
C. Everett Cooper!

Those people born in the U.S. before the 80's will know who that is....

Hayyyy, I resemble that remark! Bonnet stripes came with the car - from Germany. I added the boot stripes to match, though (you can't look too closely at them...if you do, you realize I was goofy and they aren't straight. )

Aesthetic creations....but seriously, don't drink and boot stripe. And don't let friends drink and boot stripe, either.

And don't bonnet stripe during the summer in Alaska. I had my bonnet repainted last year (wind damage), and I decided to tackle the bonnet stripes myself after the paint cured.

Let's just say more than one mosquito got underneath the first bonnet stripe and I couldn't "squeeze" it out. Ugh!!

So for now, my bonnet remains naked.

Something so 'easy' ended up becoming a major PITA. I still haven't ordered a replacement stripe... And I can't say I like the way my car looks w/o the stripes...

I ordered some last night - just what I need - another mod project. I just gone done replacing all the speakers (well almost all of them) and the car isn't 6 months old yet!

Oh well, glad you turned me on to them - really think it adds to the look. Maybe I'll see ya around sometime- I'll look for that unique license plate!

Lizzie

My VRB MINI Convertible will be named Lizzie, after Queen Elizabeth.
IMHO, cars are girls.
Lizzie should be born this week.

My husband named my yellow Mini "Le Mini". Say it really fast over and over again....you'll get it.

Le Mini is definitely a boy. I just got him this week. A lady at my orthodontist's office has a Mini Cooper, and when she saw mine the first two questions she asked me was, "Did you name it?" and "Is it a boy or a girl?" So, I thought I would share both.

As I stated prior, I've been debating on calling mine my "Cinni MINI" (If you don't get it: Burger King has miniature cinnamon rolls for breakfast called cinni minis)...

But otherwise I dunno. I'm feeling more of a masculine vibe from the look I've customized... and I don't think Cinni is very manly. :P

My Jeep, whom I love dearly, is named "Tank". He's huge. Big reason why I'm getting my MINI soon... :p

Got two 2009 minis. One named SPARKS, she's white over red w/black stripes. The other is named KILLERBEE, she's black over yellow (no stripes, yet). Haven't learned how to upload pictures into a thread.

Congrats on your new "girl". All cars are girls. We have some names. Since your car is black w/white stripes, we're thinking of a skunk but in a GOOD way.
Remember BAMBI and the skunk? She was called "Flower". Then, there is the Pepe LePew cartoon where the male skunk is in love with the black and white female cat. (forgot the cat's name).

If you are Catholic, there's Sister Mary Mini. (sorry ) or just "Little Sister"

Halli Berry's character in X MEN with the white flowing hair makes me think of the white stripes, thus STORM.

Hope we didn't scare you with these ideas. That's what we do. Just brainstorm. Maybe during a family gathering, you can all come up with a "girl" name that's personal to you. GOOD LUCK!
