Does your MINI have a name?
I have re-named mine 'Godzilla'.
The reason for the name is a little complex, my 'other car' is an MR2 Spyder, possibly one of the most beautiful handling cars of all times. It requires (demands?) very subtle inputs to which it responds as though it was hardwired to your brain. It is sublime in its abilities and its astonishing feedback. It is not terribly fast (140hp and 2000lbs) however is enough to make it nimble and a rewarding car to drive.
The MCS, however, is a very different beast. That motor is exceptionally strong in the mid-range and it dominates proceedings, there is a little lag in the throttle too, the handling is amazing, but it requires a firm hand, all that torque fights you - especially with the LSD and the ride is overly firm (with RF's). In short it is fast, unrefined, loud and somewhat brutal.
Something of a 'Godzilla approach' when compared to the refined scalpel like MR2.
My continual refering to the MCS as Godzilla appears to have stuck, my Mini now has a name

very true rjyoder4
Clara, for several reasons - she's obviously female, it's (apparently) a popular British baby name, it sort of makes me think of white, and I love ballet and especially the Nutcracker.
My baby's name is Sgt Pepper. From the color, obviously, and his number in the "Peerage" is 1966, the year of my graduation from HS and from the Beatles album, which is arguably the greatest band/album ever! IMHO On a side note, I read somewhere that people who name their cars are more likely prone to road rage than those who don't! Can you believe that? It just doesn't sound like MINI people to me? Any thoughts?
Spike, because she , maybe should be spelled 'Spyke,' seems like a little bull dog pup that likes to act tougher than she really is. Everybody smiles when they look at her so you know really she is loveable.
Thanks! yes, Clive is special and very aware of his place on the road...he pushes 18 wheelers outta the way ALL the time......

Is there any other way?
