Junior

I went round and round trying different names, until he arrived at the dealer. I went to pick him up, and my MA asked his name... Junior just popped out - so Junior it is!

He likes to play in the rain, loves to drive through puddles and plays hide-and-seek in large mall parking lots - so it fits!

Mine is MINIBLU. Orginally a company car. The owner of the company has a 35' Fountain named "Blu-By-U". So naturally MINIBLU fit. Also the tag.

I named mine after driving round one night with the windows open listening to the exhaust popping
I took the name from the nursery rhyme 'Pop goes The Weasel'....

....or in my case, POP POP POPPOP POP POP goes The Weasel

It's not easy being green

We'd dubbed my boyfriend's car Kermit (because when the lights pop up, the front looks exactly like a frog!), so the MINI could only be Kermit's nephew, Robin.

(Guess we watched a little too much of the Muppets when we were young. )

Guinness! He looks just like a perfectly poured pint! And like a well-poured pint of Guinness, I had to wait 7 weeks (instead of 7 minutes) to get him!

Our minis name is Slave Rabbit. Our license plate says slvrbt, which meant silver bullet, but kind of turned into Slave Rabbit, which i like better.

My CR MC is "Bergey". Named after former Eagles Middle Linebacker Bill Bergey. And it sounded like a good color for a Chili Red MINI.

My fiance's PW MC is "Pebbles". Don't ask me, I didn't pick it out !

At the moment, I tend to call them the big car and the little car. Most people laugh when I refer to the MINI as a big car.

Since I do not have kids of my own yet, my parents call them the grandchildren.

Name for Mini

Well today is the BIG Day!!! I pick up the CODETTE mobile at the dealership in illinois. Very excited, Can't Wait!!!

It is named after my nickname, which was given to me by my husbands friends when we worked a Nuclear Power Plant Shutdown :impatient (Outage) back in the late 80's in Georgia, They nicknamed my husband COD, so I became Codette, and my MINI will be the Codette Mobile!!!

Our's is CoopahS with the license plate to match... and the URL: http://www.coopahs.com/ We need to find time to re-work the website though.

Codette, congrats on your big day. We love ours more now (17 months and 42K miles later) than we ever expected to! I'm planning to order mine soon, so we'll be a two MINI family. I'm not sure yet what it's name will be though.

Our MINI's name

Our MCSa is dark silver - my wife and I live in northern Virginia so we motor through some of the most beautiful, rolling countryside on the mid-Atlantic. We wanted something that combined our MINI's color and made a reference to our home so we came up with "Greeley" - Old English for grey meadow.

Prudence, chosen (with the help of fellow NAMers) because it sounds British, it is a reference to the Nanny and the Professor TV show of the 70's, and because of the Beatles song "Dear Prudence").

But of course! It...he...is the ONLY car I've ever named. Was thinking about a good British name...Winston was a fave for obvious reasons AND for Mrs. Doubtfire's husband.

But, I was driving along one day...hadn't taken delivery yet and it just popped into my head (like many NAMers say).

His name is JAKE! One of the best parts is my family, friends, etc. all call him by his name, too! No "how's your car" but "How's Jake?" I LOVE THAT!
