Does your MINI have a name?
Carlo Del Cooper....Classy Cooper....Indi...
Good suggestions. I am thinking of a man you would have found in the European recing circuit during the 60's. I am thinking about Oscar and would probably go with that if everyone would use the european pronunciation Os-Car.
I find it a little surprising that most Mini's seem to be girls. Not that there is anything wrong with that but mine definately isn't

I've settled on naming mine " The Mighty Flea!"
After attending a few mini drives And being the only justa that shows up, I've had to use gears and guts to hang with my much faster "S" brothers and sisters! Lol. It struck me that I was like a flea trying to hang onto the dog! What a blast this car is as well as hangin in there with faster cars, so Mighty Flea it is!

Here through some of that computer magic and razzle-dazzle is the BS that my subconscious and the black box fed me for MINIMETOO (my MINI's name-he lets me co-opt it as my user name)
that ultimate of leetle clown car wit leetle known lineage. (har har har)
Now many people assume that my screen name is a way of shouting that I also drive a MCS. But if you thought...that yer wrong, oh so wrong. It is actually a derivation of a little known word in the language of Seven Nations Indians (similar words appear in the languages of the Algonquian, Ojibwa, Seneca and Moe Howard I believe). A name meaning little, swift, cute as a button, furry forest dweller that races around and around the big lake they call Gitchi Gumi by the shining big sea waters until you get dizzy watching it and barf (it nature's adaptation to insure survival of the species). Honest....that's what it means, really - why would I lie to other Mini owners.

I think Trigger is appropriate:
1. "Pulling the trigger" when one decides to buy something. Which happened when facing a $4,000 repair bill for a $6,100 valued 111,800 mile, rough Swifty. Seeing this JCW was admittedly an impulse decision.
2. I'm a member of the NRA. Guess what would trigger a heated discussion?

3. I love to trigger the shutter and getting a great photograph.
4. Made me think of Roy Roger's trusty horse named Trigger.
I haven't yet received my Mini. He's on a transport vessel somewhere in the East Atlantic. Should have him in less than a month now. I'm toying with the name Pepper, he's Pepper White. But I feel that's so generic. Cute, but generic. But for now it's Pepper. After we meet and I get to know him, something else may come to me. :-)
Havent seen our MCS in person yet, but it has been crowned "Bazzle" After the great John Cleese's character Basil Fawlty in the old TV show "Fawlty Towers" He is due to depart on his way here as of tomorrow morning

My wife and I are considering names right now. I haven't been into anthropomorhizing inanimate objects at any time in my life. Still, our beatiful, sexy spice orange S convertible screams for a name of some kind.
I've got a bunch of ideas but none of them have stuck. Because of the orange and black colors, it speaks of two things: tigers and halloween. The latter is interesting since we bought the car on October 31! Some ideas we've had (but nothing has stuck yet):

- Tigger
- Hobbes (from Calvin and Hobbes)
- Jack (as in jack-o-lantern)
- Jaqui (same as Jack but feminine)
- Ginger
- Sher Khan (from "Jungle Book")
- Elsa (lioness rather than tiger from "Born Free")
- Otsu Maguro ("spicy tuna" as in the sushi)
