Actually though, I had read a book of Arthurian legend that said in a story that the Lady of the Lake assumed the identity of the Green knight to teach Gawain a lesson.
Like so many of those stories there are probably several versions built up over the years. In the poem I'm thinking of, Gawain's merry host Bercilak and the Green Knight were the same person, and the whole ordeal had been orchestrated by Morgan le Fay.
Mine is El Kabong. I wanted something quirky and funny, that would make people smile. I love when I'm in a parking lot heading back to El Kabong and see people walking past him and pointing and smiling at the graphics. Oh, and look what I found tonight, an El Kabong Bobble head bank that says "It is I, El Kabong" followed by the guitar bonging sound! I must have it, price be damned!

Who in their right mind would give a name to a car? I know that Minis are special( I have one and love it), but to name them as if they were people or pets is ridiculous:impatient ...

You're kidding, right? I know plenty of people who name their cars, and none of them even have MINI's. Haven't you ever had an older/finicky car that, upon cranking it over you say "c'mon, baby..." Cars have personality, plus most humans love to anthropomorphize (triple word score!). In the days of yore, your horse had a name, so why not the modern substitute?
My pathfinder lost a rear-view mirror when I was backing up a tree-lined driveway on a curve- he became Vincent, the Van-go-mobile.
