Evie looks great Doogs. I picked up Joshua last night and will get pics tonight if the weather isn't too bad and post them. It was great being back in a MINI again on the road last night from the dealership to home.

What interior does Evie have?

My MA took a pic, but it came out too dark to make out much more than the chrome ring circling the speedo.

Nice! I wasn't sure until I saw Joshua but I went with Park Lane, two tone seats (lt greya and black leatherette) but I love the combination. I'll get exterior and interior pics and post them. I'm really loving the RG exterior color, much darker then my CR/B one at the beginning of the year.

Here's the interior. I've lightened the image about as much as I dare.

I was going to go with the anthracite dash and door trim, but changed my mind at the last minute, figuring the silver would go well with the silver roof/mirrors/stripes.

That will be very nice. Are you going with Anthrecite headliner too?

No, I thought it would make the MINI a bit too dark inside so we opted for the lighter headliner.

Nice pic of Evie. Here is my new MINI, I have a couple others on my gallery. I'm getting a UJ a panel topper this week and install the hella 500's next weekend too.

Motor on!

Being a silk green owner, I don't mean to crash your thread but royal gray is really one of the nicest colour combinations out there especially when pared with a silver roof.

Congrats!! Mine arrived at the dealer on Saturday. I'm picking him up Thursday evening. Longest-six-days-ever.

2006 Only!

How cool is it all? Real or imagined, we have a classic combination.

Royal Grey, silver roof and silver u-shaped bonnet stripe are limited to 2006.

I love the silver u-stripe...it was one of my main reasons for actually choosing the royal grey. I thought that is was the best color to go along with the u-stripe and the silver roof. I just put tints on the windows and man does it look good with royal grey!

StephJ- Be sure to post pictures after your pick up on Thursday! Congrats!!

Did you folks hear that Royal Grey is officially a one year color? The word from Motoringfile is that it is gone from the official 2007 colors.

added stripes and Hella FF 1000 lights. Lights didn't fit exactly right on the PIAA brackets I bought, so i had to make an extender for the bracket out of 1/8" Steel. Also bought clear light covers to protect those big lights out front!

got them here at a great price: http://www.rallylights.com/hella/ff1000.asp

Pulley next.....

(also, please enjoy the MSV (MINI Support Vehicle - 97 outback sport, Home Depot Chariot)

If Royal Grey is a one year color then we have unique MINIs. Everyone I have seen has said the Royal Grey color is really nice, most have said they would like the color for their MINI too.

I'm not going to be pretentious and say it is the best color but I think I like it better every day that I have Joshua.
