VERY NICE!


Anyone have a picture of a Royal Grey w/ a carbon fiber scoop?

 

Hey fellow RGM MINI owners,

I want to move my license plate to the No Holes position, and will be leaving behind two very unsightly holes in my bumper. Which is the reason for my appeal to you.

I have not been able to find a source that stocks plugs painted in MINI's RGM/A48/7, but they can be custom ordered from bumperplugs.com.

The cost is $99 for three sets. I need one set. If I can find two other RGM owners interested in a set I might consider ordering, rather than trying to paint a set myself.

I am considering getting a full decal for my roof.


I am either getting a pure silver/ royal grey checker combo or a pure silver/ black checker combo.

I am not too sure how the black would look but I am also hesitant to find out if a shop would be able to match the oem royal grey paint with vinyl.


Thoughts?

Love the Royal Grey. It's been my favorite color since it's introduction. I'm about to get paint done and need the paint code. I went to the Mini dealer and they were clueless as to what code to give me. I want to get it right and what's right is the color that I've seen in this thread.

I have touch up paint at home with the number on it. I'll be glad to post it when I am back home.

Additionally, it's pretty bad if the dealer didn't know what color royal grey is as the new Countryman comes in royal grey. Definitely should be a color they know.

 

Thanks Alex, I'll keep my eyes peeled. I believe it's A48, yet I've only read that online.

 

According to the paint bottle, it is A48

So im no photographer but i was bored today and figured i would snap a few pics..enjoy.

 

My Dad just found a GREAT deal for me on a 2006 RGMC that I couldn't pass up, so he made an offer and the guy accepted. He had much more time to be searching for cars than I do, and living in the sprawling metropolis that is Cloudcroft (population 700 people), there are VERY few cars within 250 miles of me.

Sad thing is, my Dad is picking it up tonight, but I don't get to fly there to pick it up and drive it home until the end of the month . The wait is going to kill me, but I'll get by dreaming about driving it.

i haven't taken in any pics in a while. i did find this one from 2009.

 

Washed her the other day. Also, just installed an Alta V2 CAI this weekend.

Flat out, glad she came in this color! RG, all the way!

Where do I find the paint code on my MCS.? I have one similar to this without white stripe, title shows as color grey.
