I WANT MY R53 BACK!!!!

 

I always think about why I didn't order royal gray. Only out for one year, while dark silver has been around since the R53 came out. :(

But, I still like dark silver

Are those chrome or silver mirror caps??? Seems silver on this picture...

Rear window and fronts are tinted to 20%. I got pulled over once for violating the window tint law. In ND, it is only $20, so I don't think I'm going to worry too much.

Everything is silver. If I could get economically get rid of the chrome I would. I really like the grey and silver combination.

 

I have had my MINI for over 2 years and didn't know this thread was out here...

 

Great looking RG! So glad you posted so I can see the blacked out chrome - can't wait to do mine...

 

The only chrome left is the MINI badges, inside the headlights (no Joey mod) and the Hella rally lights...

I think it looks better without the chrome...

I do as well, but I would prefer silver accents to match the wheels, roof and stripe. Does anyone know how making these silver can be done?

Hey Guys,
I traded my 05 MCS CR|W|whitestripes to a 06 MCS|RG|RG|A but it doen't have any stripes and i was looking at several possibilities. Trip024 I like your Shelby|racing stripes in silver, could you possibly post a different angle of your MCS to view the stripes with clarity. I was thinking of going FLAT strripes in the same color.
Any Suggestions

Just bought it a few weeks ago. I am looking for a new scoop for it because some genius attempted to steal the current one and it has a small crack where the tried to pry it out. Should I go chrome with the scoop?
