Hi, have any of you ordered a Mini 2/4 doors hardtop or clubman in the US, the last few days? My dealer told me it takes 3 months. In other forums I read about significant delays.

Our JCW 2022 Countryman took 2 months and that was only because they were able to modify one of their allocations they already had. Three months sounds reasonable.

 

Ordered my 2022 yesterday, waiting on dealer to place the order with Mini and give me EST for delivery. A few weeks ago when I was shopping for one dealer said 8-10 weeks. Hope I get it by the Holidays.

 

I ordered yesterday, Today received email from dealer, My build starts 3rd week September.

 

Hi...ordered July 19th from MINI of Rochester. No prod # or anything yet. Just emailed for an update but I'm not hopeful. I was so excited, and I knew I had to be patient, but I'm not sure I want to wait until Nov/Dec to get it, especially with the Buffalo snow. This is my first MINI since my 2005 cabrio...I'm not sure what I want to do, so hopefully there's news of something tomorrow. Im also wanting to make sure I can get as much for my current car as I can. Not driving much to save miles and stuff. I'm not too worried about being upside down, because I can make up the difference in $, but I'll probably need a brakes and possibly tires and oil change before I trade it...if it's needed and I don't, those will detract from the value, and if I do, I'll be out that much more $$...so just hanging in the doldrums I guess for now...

My dealer told me 6-8 weeks for my 2 dr Cooper (not s) hardtop, but it's been 4 since I ordered & we aren't in production yet...

 

I knew nothing as well until I called.You can call us at 866-ASK-MINI (866-275-6464). I live person told me the exact production date , i ordered mine 1st week of August and was told the car will be in production first week of October. Good Luck...

 

Thanks you...I figured. I guess I'm going to call because I think I'd like to at least set my mind at ease...

 

Just called, but Ask MINI can't help without a production number. Another call the dealer, I guess.

 

Yes, keep on them and they should be able to give you a Production number then you can set up My Garage on Mini and see the status. Good Luck
